Whats with all the DLC?

Gone are the days of buying a complete game, much easier to half a55 make it and wack it out and finish with dlc, it's atrocious. No way will I ever pay for a game multiple times over, it's just insane, how do you all feel on DLC?

Step Two: You download the 4 (tomorrow will be 5) updates that improve the game for free
Step Three: Repeat step 2 in the future
Step Four: If/when cars are optional to buy, you can choose to buy them now, or wait for the next game, which will be included on the disc.

Step Six: Complain and get rich

So you don't pay for data usage downloading content? That IMO counts towards extra money spent on the game, if you didnt have it you wouldn't be using that excess data, yes iam aware some people are on packages but at the end of the day, your still paying for it again. Weather you like it or not.

How is this trolling just because we don't see eye to eye, sorry mate I don't play it or see it your way, no need to take your bat and ball and go home, gee whizz, using gt planet is no where using the data required to finish there game.

I can kinda see where he's coming from, I don't have limited data on my home internet so downloading extra content and playing online games won't hurt me.

But if this fella has to use data to download content, he then has less data to use on playing the game, or run the risk of going over his data allowance and thereby incurring higher charges on his internet bill.

It's just the way things are these days with modern games, your just going to have to get used to it or you can get unlimited internet. If that's not an option for you then you also have the choice to just not download the updates for games.

I understand that but if they actually spent time completing games like they used to back in the day, they wouldn't rush it's release, my brother worked for ea for many years, the way the would just rush games out full of bugs and glitches is appaling, he even said that there told not to fix them till a later date, it's all about the money.


As others have wondered, I don't have unlimited Internet, it's kinda hard in my location, so that's what iam getting at, so for me to get an extra circuit or car to risk going over my data limit, not worth or IMO.

GT6 should have been a full game like it was in GT5 and with the DLC Emmcee has a good point. You buy GT6 and you only get a half of a game to get a full game you have to download the rest which is wrong if you have a data limit.

i can too i don't know why there has to be a mob on gtplanet, he doesn't want to have to wait for the content and them have them sell it through dlc's. I will say this though the features, which are never coming, are supposed to be free, so i guess i am confused to, ahahahahhaah.

It's just rediculous, if they did this 10yrs ago people would be livid, but as today's society grows, so does the laziness in everyone. When sega megadrive and snes ruled the earth many eons ago lol, they would never dream of releasing a half made game and to top it of, all this DLC made my brother quit EA as he said to me that he cannot work under these conditions anymore. EA hired him in the first place due to his artwork and rendering these exact images into a game. Once employed, they couldn't care less about his artistic Integrity, that got him the job mind you, they just said no time to fix, just pump it out and we will fix with DLC, in other words, they couldn't give a rats a55 about your quality of game play, they only want the money. Most developers would be the same I would think, as why would EA do it if it wasn't the norm now? Just severely dissappionted.

Sorry double post, bad Internet connection, my point made lol. Why should I miss out because of where I live? I lived here before gt6 was even thought about, so why should I suffer? Should make a full game IMO.
