What's with the Trueno?

I haven't got why people like this car? The Trueno that is. I think its very ugly personally. I am not trying to get on anyones bad side just show me how and what you love about it so much and I will see your perspective on why this box-shaped slow car is so great?! :confused: :odd:
 
People like it sooooo much because it is in Initial D. All the Initial D fanboys go phsyco over having a tofu delivery car. :rolleyes:

Personally, I think the car is a great beginner car and it is good for drifting but nothing more.
 
Lol..The car is good for nothing more than drifting?..What about the fact that you can fit 4 of the most powerful japanese motors into the car fairly easily??...Explain to me why it's a very cheap car, with perfect 50/50 weight distribution and happens to be RWD....If you think people like it just because of some cartoon you've got to read up on it just a LITTLE bit more
 
personally I don't care what you -could- put into it you can't do jack to it in GT3 but the weight/power ratio = nice. Maybe if it had a nice ricey body look like the supra I might like it a bit more

People like this car because it's a GOOD CAR..you mentioned NOTHING about Gt3, and you can get 375 HP out of that light thing, which is more than enough to stop all the other cars in it's class is it not?
 
:odd: Your correct there but why would you wanna stomp everyone i your league with a box and a motor woulden't you rather drive something a little more flashy?

Hello buddy. He's talking about GT3. It's not that hard to figure out. This is the GT3 forum. I'm sure he would have posted about in the cars forum if he was referring to the real life.

BTW: So you're telling me that you can stuff an RB26DETT engine into a Trueno?
 
Ok well I see someone has some sense about how this works and knows I am -not- stupid as it seems :irked: Again I laugh in his face a Naoki gives the verbal smack in the face :lol: :lol: :lol:

yes you can stuff a RB26DETT in a AE86 sprinter, i have seen it done
i have also seen a 2JZGTE put in an AE86
some modifications are required though

I was Wondering why there was a Elephant racing with me...
The Trueno is a Excellent beginning car to me, it's got great speed and Excell, and Great handling. WHen I first played gt3 I used that car until the pro series!
 
So what, you can fit a V8 in a mini with an extension...you can practically fit almost any engine to any car with an extension to the front end, and a major overhaul of the whole car...:|

thats why i am putting a viper 8.2L V10 in a AE86:D
 
Now, I think that would be one of the engines you probably cant put in such a small car, even with an extension...;)
 
maybe it would be easier to put the 4AGE from the AE86 into the Viper:lol:
 
Heh, you could probably fit three in the front, and one in the back! :D :lol:

Basically its a performace car which is able to do the job, -able- but not easily done and I think any other car except the minivan looking Diahatsu and Suzuki looks 3 times better. I am yet to mention that many other cars while out fashioning the Tureno, out perform it easily. :trouble:
 
In real life AE86 was a legend a long time before anyone knew anything about Initial D. And it still is.
It was Toyota's last cheap RWD production sports car.

Lol..Like you've never seen someone Talk about real cars in a GT3 Forum..For instance in the Drifters Only section of GT3...Whatever that guy said about his girl getting AE86 or a Mr2 SW20...That wasn't in GT3 now was it?..
And yes you can fit a RB26DETT into a Trueno..You also can fit a 3sgte into a trueno..or a 2jz-GTE or a 20B or a SR20DET..

Welcome aboard Pulse..Nice to know there's someone else on here who doesn't think the Supra is the god of all which is automotive, cause it's not..I couldn't have said it better than when I reffered to it as Elephant azz on wheels

I think the trueno is a very good car for the style of the car and the engine!And i dosent trip on this car because of inital d.I leave in canada....I only know is a cartoon with cars.And do you ever seen the trueno BP???
