And dodge..about the "modification and all that"
the only engine that I listed that requires signifigent engine bay modification is the 20B..The rest fit..it's just a matter of mounts...And no the transmission isn't going to be rubbing against the drivers leg either..

[EDIT] The Supra is a pretty good untill it has more than 600 HP(so I've heard) in it. After that, you can't get any traction untill 4th gear.[/EDIT]
 
Yeah, I've never understood why people go gaga over that car. IMO, it's the ugliest POS in the game :yuck:

The Supra is a good car...I like the rear lights of it, and the engine is pretty good too, 3.0 V6...:)

You show me another car you can buy for £10,000 (equivalent to US$14,000 and about AS$20,000) which can manage 205mph without modification. Which has bulletproof reliability. Which seats FOUR people (if two of them are Oompa-Loompas). Which has a fuel economy satisfactory enough to pass muster in a country where petrol is £4 a gallon (US$6, AS$8).

It doesn't have a single angle it looks bad from. Until people start modifying them (Veilside - DIE, DEVILS, DIE!)

(BTW all figures relate to UK spec 326hp, 6-speed MkIV model).

I agree totally, I really cannot see how people don't like the look of Supra's.
Each to their own I guess.
 
Yes, they're so cheap over here as well...only 30,000 AU for a Twin Turbo model...:)

..No...it's azz..Elephant azz on wheels...Not Ass...azz..And the TT supra isn't any good..a 600HP TT supra will run.........11's..WHOOPIE..Wheelspin a problem in a 600HP Supra?..Lol..please..It doesn't even see 600HP till 50MPH and besides..if it's the 6 speed version it's heavy as hell....And as for me posting yeah..I post alot..I post all over...Didn't you notice that...Don't blame me for YOU not being involved in more than 1 thing guy...Just because I have things to talk about as it pretains to drifting/GT2/gt3/ps2/x box/pc gaming/cars in general/ and pics & Video's..That's 8 different topics..not counting the ones i post in just from time to time...So you're telling me that whoever posts more than 7.5 Posts under any of those topics a day..is a post whore?..Cause that's what I do....7.5 posts isn't alot now is it?...

You're going to tell me that the Suzuki Alto Works is a better looking car than a Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex?
And as a note as to why I like the trueno. Try reading the description the game gives when you go to buy a car. That'll clear up some things.
 
Ok guys... calm down everyone... it's not like the Ducks won the stanley cup or anything... I don't know weither to be happy that there's actually a site dedicated to everything GT and drifting or weither to be scared... especially after reading the posts in this thread... Anyways, yeah... The Trueno is cool, drifting and GT and the ps to are great. I will look forward to enhancing my GT and drifting experience in a safe virtual world where I can't kill myself trying this stuff in reality. I'll try to avoid Shinez as well as everyone in this tread... j/k

basically, the car is ok. there are better cars out there.
I'd say that reguardless of it being a good car the main reason it is liked so much is because of the initial-d cartoon.

how sum1 can idolise something cause of a catroon i dont know.... but that is the reason some here worship it.

I can say this because every1 here who likes it also drifts. see the connection?

anyhow, my POV is that the car is ok :)

And asside from that that funny thing is..I've never heard of anyone liking the AE86 because of the cartoon UNTILL i got to this forum.:lol:...Cooincidence?...I'unno.

It's easy to idolize anything. The same way someone can idolize a "cartoon" (shakes head in disapointment to the incorrect usage of the description of the type of animation that intial D represents) they can idolize a video game. Take a game called Gran Turismo 3. People all over idolize the game for it's ok take on physics and large selections of cars. You see? People like what they like.

Purple: No, I am not saying that 7.5 posts per day being a post whore. In fact, there are plenty of people that have over 7.5 post per day, but I'm sure that they didn't reach over 1200 posts in under 1 month. I have been registered nearly 1 year (the 24 of this month) and I have 2094 posts and 5.75 posts per day, which that far behind you. So no, but to accumulate 1200 posts in less than 1 month is deffinately post whoring.

WHY?? Here are some reasons:
- 50-50 weight distribution
- It was one of the first cars to have an affordable DOHC engine.
- It was the last of the light weight rear wheel drive sportcars.
- They are fun cars and don't forget it's RWD.
- Classic 80s wedge styling. You can love it or hate it. I love it.

I've been to enough debates over the ideal of communism that all I'll ever tell anyone in my defense is that the human wasn't built for communism and there is no way you can change everyone to fit the ideal. Hey People Calm Down! The subject was about the Trueno, Not the Supra. The Supra is Good to some people and So is the trueno. I haven't Seen Intial D but i heard it's good. You can't bash teh Supra because You dont like, its' like i dont Like Fords, I dont bash fords, I dont say anything about them. I just liek the trueno, simple as that. lets get back to the trueno please?


Btw, I signed up the Same Month as Shinez. and he has 10X more posts than I do and I come almost everyday. Jesus Shinez Calm Down! j/k i need that 500 posts to change my title.
