I also dont understand ppl idolising gt3... its just a game! (a good one yes but just a game).

Its prolly just me, but i cant stand ppl who idolise anything, inc. movie stars, sports stars, cars, umm... anything really!
It all seems too shallow to me.

yeah, I think Heather Graham is darn purdy, but I would have posters of her everywhere or a t-shirt with her head on it.... to me thats just one step below stalking. and stalkers are sick :p

Yeah that's a pretty nasty looking POS as well, I usually lump all those cars into one stinking pile :lol: I don't care if the Trueno is good at drifting or not, point is, it's not an attractive car, it looks like an old Corolla, and it's just nasty :yuck:

But hey, each to their own.

The Trueno is a sprinter, You're thinking of the Corolla Levin, (it's twin, but different car)

What an idiot..You still just can't fathom the concept huh?...I gaurentee you 80% of the people who have posted in this thread post atleast 7.5 Posts per day in just "Gran Turismo 3" Alone.....Now....Since I post in 8!!!!!!!! different forum.s...That's 7.5 ppd in 8 different area's..HENCE MY 60......Smartness huh?....Or does your mind boggle?

the only engine that I listed that requires signifigent engine bay modification is the 20B..The rest fit..it's just a matter of mounts...And no the transmission isn't going to be rubbing against the drivers leg either..

yeah i know theres not much mods needed

i just helped a mate fit a SR20DET into his nissan bluebird series III TRX and all that required was modifing the engine mounts and radiator (some intercooler piping, fuel lines etc)

but most cars dont have troubles fiting engines like that

i have seen an S12 silvia gazelle with a 1J that cut out the radiator support to fit it in
 
And I've seen a AE86 With a magical ball of power in it to make it go.....Don't question it....And asside from that

Anyway, I also thought the the Supra was a V6...:odd:

BTW I love the Supra. I want one - and if I wasn't unemployed, I'd be buying one at about this point (as it is I can buy it, but not run it). It's not the world's greatest car, but it looks good (some cars look better), it goes quickly out of the box (some cars go quicker), is reliable (some are more reliable) and fairly fuel friendly for the performance figures (some are better, but not many).

All round, an excellent package - although some are better. But for £10,000 you get 0-60mph sub 5s and 200mph. I'm not arguing.

Yeah the 2jz-gte, supra TT engine, is only a inline 6. They have loads of tuning potential just like an RB26DETT (skyline GTR engine). But both do not as much as a small block chevy though. Anyone see a v8 in a ae86 yet?? I seen a Rover V8 in a miata but never a AE86.
 
Screw "tuning potential"... Can't anyone just drive a car as sold anymore?

actually he'll have around 4 posts in a row, all with their own sentence addressing a different subject. its annoying as heck, and VERY post whorish. maybe he doesnt know where the edit button is...(i bet if he did he'd only have 200 posts :lol: )
 
Isn't that Supra engine called a JZA-80 or something like that??? :confused:
 
The JZA80 is the single turbo 2.5 i6 from Mark 3 (wedge) Supras. I think. :D The 2JZ-GTE is the twin turbo 3.0 i6 from Mk IV's (I forget what the NA version is called... Like it matters :D)

You corrected the guy where there was no need for correction..He was talking about the MkIII supra..The 2jz-GTE was the dyno queen engine which is cheezeh, overpriced and over rated
 
JZA80 is the name of the car not the engine
