Seriously, what's wrong with it?! :O

It's funky, looks like handwriting more than just Plain old perfectly shaped boring text, Or flowery, hard to understand French style script. It just looks awesome.

The same thing that is wrong with
Glee
Teletubbies
Porsche Speedster
etc.

How dare you disrespect the first Porsche!

But seriously, I don't think there's anything wrong with Comic Sans MS, other than it being over-and-mis-used.

I'm sure you have asked this before, I did try to search to find it but for some reason all of your posts show up in the results when I search with the key word as "comic"

Go figure...

I put more thought into it and realized that the search engine must take into consideration the font tags.

Anyway I did find the post where you asked the exact same question. Funnily enough not long after you changed to another font type..

I'll tell you what's wrong,

1. Comic Sans
2. Comic Sans!
3. COMIC SAAAAAAAAAAAAAANS!

:p

But in all seriousness, I just find it more appealing for children, and it looks less sophisticated than other choices of font.

As apposed to the serious sophistication of light purple font?

So it's not about 16 then?

I think you are not an adult yet.
I think you live with your parents, you have a brother who you fight with.
So I don't think you can call something negative because it is childish or immature.

And fitting within your description disqualifies his argument because? :odd:

Biological age doesn't always reflect mental age, as you just proved with your post.

My daughter's most recent teacher used Comic Sans for all of the letters she used to send home. She's an idiot, and cares more about her footballer son than teaching her kids.

Verdana FTW.

Now that both of my kids will be in school this year I'm expecting a plethora of Comic Sans emblazoned paperwork. Fortunately I don't care and my wife wouldn't know the difference between it and Old English.

Tell me again...how the bloody hell did this thread get 45 replies in two days...about a font!?!?

Maybe Comic Sans is awesome! :D

As you can see, though, I've stopped using it, and am just using the maroon color on my text.

Still, everyone, keep linking me in that sexy shirt. Maybe it'll get Sponge's attention ;)

It's very popular with elementary schools and anything "back to school" (that American holiday season that exists only because there's no official holidays in August).

Even the lame/lazy graphic artist that does all the signs and posters where I work has enough sense to avoid Comic Sans. Probably because she steals all the designs off of pre-made templates and the template designers didn't use Comic Sans as the default.
