I think he was showing how he did the 7.9 trick. Look on page 2 and he says he did the mod.

My mistake, that was greyfox that said he did the trick.

The way to change the scores is in an XML file that is just proof that it is his machine.

If others want to change it the file is found in C:\windows\performance\WinSAT\DataStore\YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS.TTT Formal.Assessment.WinSAT.xml

The first part of the file will be when the test was done Year month day hour minute second millisecond.

Pretty average statistics, but I don't rely on Window's method of rating computer performance.

Hmm, that's a hefty score.

Hmm, I might have been tricked.

Ludicrous claim anyone?

Until i see a hardware chart with the WinSAT next to it i will see it as a lie.

Mine is a lie as i edited the XML file that has the scores.

Yep, you guys caught me with the XML file trick. I didn't think it would be spoiled this fast. I thought it was cool and wondered how many would fall for it.

I didn't even know you could edit out the Experience Index (no need to provide instructions to do so).

Not to mention i told others how to do this trick back on the 36th post.

I actually saw your real score before you edited your post. Besides with how cheap it got down to it's bound to not be 7.9.

Here's my latest score since I've started learning a little about overclocking. I threw my heaven default score in there too.

Here's my scores. Everything pushed to a comfortable level and am really happy with them:

Strange thing about the score is that I added more RAM the other day from 4GB to 8GB (identical RAM before anyone asks) and it dropped my RAM score from 7.9 to 7.8. Settings seem to be as they were before in the BIOS as well. Any ideas?
