Other then the Dynaxion concept from the 40's or 50's is there even any car that uses that?

I've read somewhere recently someone actually build a V8-powered mid-engined front wheel drive (so not strictly rear-engined) Mini Cooper "special" in the late sixties/early seventies.....
Can't imagine how that would drive, strangely enough sounds like fun.

I have a deep love for the RS200 and 205 T16. Anything that's smaller than a Geo and faster than any 'production' muscle car is worth mentioning. So, mid-engine AWD it is.
