Not to poke fun at you, honest. But spelt wrong is an understatement. You got Hockenheim and Nürburgring all cobbled together in one word there. :D
Nürburgring is the track you're talking about and you're right, it's monumental. Sir Jackie Stewart himself said at the USGP in September that it would take like 10-15 minutes to see the cars come around again after they had gone by. :trouble:
I believe the F1 race, back in the day, on that track consisted of like 14 laps only. :p

wow, you guys are kinda harsh on the tracks .

for me my fav. is cote. it is a real life F1 track so it doesnt get any better than that IMO. the track is very tight but thats how you learn to drive with precision. i would love it if they had suzuka in there as well.

the complex string is another good place to practice turns and drifts. My only complaint is that its way too long especially some of the straight sections.

test track is good only for goofing around. i wouldnt pick it to race in, but drafting around can be fun with a high powered car.

I wish the rally stages were more creative. My fav is tahiti maze, especially with the sections of S hairpins after the first two corners or so. take an modded MR2 there and let the fun begin :D.
This is your least favorite track not your favorite!

I had to vote for Cote, I'm a drifter in GT and this track poses a challenge for the most experienced drifters. My normal cars hate it because they can't open up, and my F1 cars just look at it and shake their heads. <sigh> Although I have to admit when you get drifting well in the hairpins it does make your day. But if that track were to mysteriously explode I wouldn't be hurt.

The test course is good in the Formula GT but every other race there just sucks!

I dislike Cote because of the dangerous maze of concrete it is IRL.
But ignoring the test track which is boring above and beyond the call of duty, SSR11 really gets on my nerves. You spend most of the time going from slow, boring corner to slow, boring corner

Drive faster! :D

I don't mind SSR-11, I think it's quite a complex circuit, I dont think it's that slow though, theres a couple of sections with the 90 degree turns but theres a lotta stright road in their as well. As for Cote, that is one of the best tracks in the game but my personal fave is Deep Forest II, after the back straight going down when you start to go up hill again and you can't see round any of the bends but I go flat out anyway.

Test course is hell on the car. That's why if it is in the first few races of a long series you have to plan on having NO OIL for the rest of the races. But, I still voted for Cote d'Azure because it has so many sharp turns.

One thing that dissapointed me about Monaco is that in the replays you don't get to see the hairpin from the classic camera view there is in the real life track. Where you see the cars appear, twist through the hairpin then continue on downhill. It's a pesky detail maybe, but still... :grumpy:

Hmmm...

Test Course, because it's an oval. And ovals suck.

And Seattle, both the right way and the reverse way. Going back and forth between GT2 and GT3, you can see they made it much tighter in GT3, the roads are way wider in GT2.

But for Cote D' Azur, aka Monaco, it is my most favorite track of them all. I like the abrupt corners there is in the track and what better than looking at the fine scenery in Monaco? I also like the number of laps even though they are long :p  :trouble:

Midfield...fast sweepers are not really my thing. Grand Valley Speedway is my kind of track! Or actually, when GT4 comes out, make that Suzuka Raceway!

Haha Cote is the best track in the game hands down. Its the only endurance race i felt like doin. And i can freakin wait for suzuka. ohhhhhh sweet sweet suzuka

ohh and about the one i hate the most test course easily. sooo boring

i didnt know gt4 was going to have suzuka. awesome, the esses are so good. you save heaps of time if you get them just right, if your 1 foot out of the racing line, you can say goodbye to a good lap time.

Well said, sir.
Lagua Seca rocks. Try flinging an F1 car around it. You can be super-aggressive and you gotta get that braking just right for the corkscrew. And that last sharp left onto the main striaght is a pain in the butt - but I love it when I get it right. Probably my fave track (after autumn ring - which they left out of 3... grrrr).

How can u put monte carlo down? Tough, unforgiving yet wonderfully rewarding when you hook up a great lap plus it's for real (like laguna) AND you can go for a walk around it... like i did when i was there last year!

Ignoring the test course which is, as everyone knows, boring, and complex string which is just silly for racing but good for practice, SS11 is probably the most frustrating course. It's just waaay too long a lap and it's almost impossible to balance the car setup properly.

Tracks I hate in GT2:

1. Laguna Seca

Hard to drift on, even harder to win, though it has good camara replay angles.

2. Deep Forest
Have to hate the undulating terrain, it makes my car bottom out and spin :( Poor camera replay angles.

3. Seattle
Again, undulating terrain, hard to drift on and hard to win :banghead:

Test Course:

Actually this is a track that shouldn't be hated...it's just that Poly should not put any long races involving this track. Which other game has a dedicated test facility to attain max speed for your cars? :)
