What's your personal favorite type of transmission??

Used to be a manual, but they get tiresome. I like my auto now, or driving my moms new car with the AutoStik thing. Thats really cool.

Well then theres that Benz 7 speed tranny that just came out

This is the only one I've replied too. I suggest you use the search feature, this type of thread has been done liek 395834645938457423534 times

I was going to say this one.

Chevy TR400 3-Speed. :D

This one was installed in a Supra I found on ebay. Supposedly its for drag, but it's cool, nontheless.

But for regular driving, Straight-up 6-speed manual.

I've never driven one, but I'd go with the Enzo's (and the Challenge Stradale's) Sequential Manual with paddle shifting.

Well, I suggest you learn to use the "search" feature and express yourself more comprehensibly (i.e. not using "1337"-speak and/or abbreviations like kno, and u) then you will not be bugged by people like myself and Cobraboy.

Personally, I prefer a 5-speed manual since I haven't driven a 6-speed yet.
When it becomes to automatic I like the ones with the manual-shift mode, not as complicated as the BMW's SMG or the Ferrari's version. but the one's found on high-end Hyundai's, but the upshift must be pulled down (instead of pushing it up) and downshift must be pushed up (instead of pulling it down), simple no fuss auto shifter.
Before the MBZ came up with the 7-speed CVT tranny, Honda done it first with their Honda Fit [JDM]/Jazz [EU, ASDM], aside of the 5-spd M/T it also came up with the 7-spd CVT, plus it a few thousands of $$$$$ less.

Yeeeaaa!

Yeah, I like Honda, the Jazz and its cheaper alternative City comes with 7 speed CVT.

Mitsubishi Lancers have it also but they don't have manual mode.

You like Lancers? How 'bout the Asian-spec Lancer MX with a 6-speed CVT tranny.

Not enough horsepower? How about the JDM-spec Lancer Evolution VII GT-A

Oh, so the asian spec lancers have a manual mode with 6 speeds.

I didn't know that.

BTW, no EVO GT-A for me, I rather take the manual version.
