82 is a reference to Jim Clark's 1965 Indianapolis 500-winning Lotus. 93 has no special meaning behind it, besides that it looked good in GT5 when I used it. 12 is the 'traditional' Calsonic Skyline's number.
#3. I haven't changed any numbers in GT6 yet and likely won't until I have to. #3 has been my favorite number ever since the 8th grade. This girl I had a crush on on the volleyball team was #3. Please don't tell my wife
I always used to run the number 64 because it was one of the few "real" (under 100) numbers you could use on NASCAR Thunder 2003. I created my PSN account while Joe Nemechek was driving the #78, so I often run the #78 to go along with my user name.
I also occasionally use the numbers 81, 85, and 6 just because I think they look cool.
I never use just one number. Its just the number of the car in my garage. So for example if I have 7 cars that can be numbered, they are numbered 1 through 7.
I started using #18 when I got serious in to Autocross. My wife's birthday is Feb. 18, so I hoped it would help ease her in to how much time and money I was about to spend.
I run #15 on the rally car. My dad used to race Beetles on dirt tracks back in Germany in the '70s, and he was #15, so it's an homage to him.
