Wheel problems since update

Has anybody had any wheel issues since the update. I have been using a F430 wheel and peddles, since the update I can use them because the peddles do not work. I have check all connections but no joy. Any tips folks
 
That's strange...
Double check EVERY connection including the power supply, re-boot the wheel, re-boot the PS3 and of course re-boot the GT5.
If that doesn't work then delete game data and try to use your wheel on GT5 without any updates. If you still can't use it that means your wheel is broken and if you can, that means 1.11 is the problem.
 
I had a slight issue with my pedals when I first played today. Had to disconnect and reconnect the pedals to get them to work properly.
 
The peddles on my G27 are now inguaging at will! almos tlike a sticky throttle, or a sticky brake? except i dont even need to touch them..
 
i also have the same problem with the f430 ff wheel since the 1.11 update yesterday. when i plug in the wheel the pedals and the the X and O button on the controller don´t work.(in the menu)
when i go on the track just with the controller and then plug in the wheel, its like the the gas pedal and the brake pedal are on full throttle......weird...
the day before everything worked fine....also the wheel works on the pc, so its def gt5.....
 
yes i tried both usb slots, i disconnected every cabel and reconnected it, i started the ps like 20 times last night..... no success... :(
i guess we (people with the ferrari wheel) have to wait until they fix this with another patch......

I had problems yesterday. Had to reboot. It worked for 5 minutes then the steeringwheel got its own life again. Plugged in plugged out a few times and then it finally worked again:scared:

Hey friend.

Considering other people have had problems, some have been fixed out of nowhere, patience will be your only friend. I don't have patience, but lucky for you, you're not me.
 
Hi Folks, i have since the update the same problem with the F430 Wheel. Im so angry about this.:grumpy: i tried a lot to get it work again but no hope. If someone got the answer for this problem please post it.

So long i have to play F1 2010....

Have you all the same Wheel or have some other wheels the same problem??
 
Check your connections first. I had my throttle sticking at 2000 rpms no matter what car I was driving. The problem was the pedal connector going into the wheel.
 
its definatly a ferrari f430 ffb wheel problem and only since update 1.11! i saw 2 other guys on another forum with the exact same problem. and patch 1.12 didn´t help either.
the problem has been reported to pd and thrustmaster (not by me), if i have news i´ll let you know ;)
 
I contacted Thrustmaster support thinking it was the wheel xD
I tried using my wheel today &, yep, throttle & brake jammed on. Good to know it's not just me :)
Good to know it's not my wheel too :) Lucky I stumbled on this thread, cheers guys

i must say i´m very upset, for me it looks like they did this on purpose so people buy the "official" supported more expensive wheels.....

edit: does anybody know how to contact polyphony digital directly?! i couldn´t find anything on the gt5 official page.....

I did have one problem... and it's happened a good 6 times...
My G27 just dies on me, steering everything... only happened since 1.12... but I dunno...
 
Same problem for me. I have a Ferrari F430 FF and it stopped working after update 1.11.
Update 1.12 didn't solve it.
If we are many, maybe they will start listening to us.... I'd write a collective mail to PD (but I don't know their email address), if you guys agree....

i couldn´t find any contact or costumer support info at the gran turismo homepage the PD homepage or the game booklet....thats really frustrating.
at least i want to know if this is a bug or a planned update to disable the wheel. because if they did this on purpose i´m going to sell my ps3 and the game...
 
G25 was working fine since 1.11. I'll try again w/ 1.12 (haven't installed it yet). If it doesn't work, I'll post back.

Well my G27 is having problems with brakes, clutch, and throttle.

My clutch keeps engaging randomly as well as my brakes flickering.
 
My theory, it's either:
1) This is a bug & will be fixed.
2) This is a bug & won't be fixed.
3) They did it on purpose to make you buy a fully supported wheel.
4) They did it on purpose to prepare for them being fully supported.

1) will do, 2) & 3) are unacceptable & 4) would be awesome, but very unlikely.
I hate the lack of communication between PD & gamers, we can't even tell them, other than Kaz on Twitter. Sucks man... I want to use my wheel damn it.
 
Whoever has problems with this I suggest contacting Jordan (webmaster of GTPlanet) and maybe he could contact PD (mail them regarding the issue).
I hope this gets solved.
 
live dynamics no-longer work on my DFGT wheel. This has happened after a previous update (3 i think); hope they sort it soon.
 
My G25 works great. Just did the SLS TGTT TT and got a 1:16.9xx good for 147th spot. That proves it's working to me.
