Absolutely gorgeous! Same guy have made a review on equally gorgeous ARC Carbon pedals.
I believe he will do the HE Sim Ultimate next which I had the pleasure to play with the last few days :)

Yeah Im not sure who he is, but he has had some pretty high end stuff that he has reviewed. I also like the way he presents the products. He takes his time and goes over every detail he can think of. Top notch reviews in my book.

Did you receive a wheel for Xmas? Now you need a stand or even a new cockpit. Looking to upgrade?

Maybe you are not the handiest person, or just do not have the time to build your own rig.

After spending more time than i want to admit looking up stands and cockpits I found myself looking at the same rigs, just different pages. I needed a better system to store all my locations so i could later do some comparing.

Here is a list, a working list, I have compiled.

I am not saying it is complete, If you have a site , list it.

Hopefully this will help others spending to much time looking up wheels and rigs when they could better use the time to race.

Holy Shnikes! I want to upgrade from my DS6 controller but this looks insane since I have no idea what brands are considered good, bad, too expensive, too cheap, not compatible etc.. Can anyone just tell me what to buy, I don't even care if you make fun for being lazy. I have about $300 to spend and I want everything I need together in one order from some place with free shipping that will be a significant upgrade over my controller! I'll be on Amazon and ebay for a while until one of you seasoned pro's just tells me the real deal

Thanks bud! I appreciate the info! Went to Amazon and just bought a G27 w pedals and shifter and an X20 Big Boy racing stand for a grand total of $370 with free shipping. I'm happy, it was clearly hard to beat the G27 bundle, and the stand was $179, a bit pricey but looks solid and set up for the G27.

Nice, that should work, I was going to recommend the G27 and a Rennsport Wheelstand V2, I picked one up around a month ago and could not be happier, it is a lot more solid and heavier than I expected it to be and does not move around at all.

Have not tried a Bigboy Stand but they look pretty solid and good for couch driving.

My bad, it's a XL20 Regular, about 18"wide lapbar. It should be here any second, can't wait to put it all together. This stand with everything mounted will fit in my trunk. When the zombies attack I can bug-out with the essentials; Water, Guns, and my mobile rig!
 
Could someone get me some more info on the HKS raving controller? Can't seem to find one anywhere on the east coast of the u.s. Maybe find some controllers similar and that run on PC too if possible ^_^
 
HKS raving controller did google search. many showed up for sale. click on amazon and then the sellers and there is one from Florida. Did not take to much effort. If i had to have this controller, i would buy from anywhere that sold it, including Japan. Good luck.

Hi guys. Found their website. http://www.4playracing.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=20 It was mentioned a while back. Looks pretty good especially since I'm in Texas! I've been using the official Xbox wireless wheel with a dinner tray since forza 2 lol. I'll be upgrading this summer along with my ps4 and the new T300rs.

Can anyone advise me on what would be the best wheel stand to get on a budget of about $200? I don't need anything fancy, just something sturdy and comfortable.
 
tough to answer. I can only give you info on my stand, fanatic vr2 or current model= csl. rock solid, no wobble. center post is not an issue for me. As far the others I can only hope some members chime in with their personal on hands usage. You should be able to find a decent stand within your budget. good luck

I think at this point I will save up for a whole virtual cockpit though, or at least a racing seat + wheel stand combo. Going to have do some research on which ones are the best so I'd appreciate your advice once again.👍
 
just added dxracer to list. This wheel stand and full rig look so familiar, I swear I seen before. The two piece unit is made by someone else as well, just can't remember who.
 
Does anyone have experience with the Fanatec RennSport Cockpit V2?

Considering getting one so advice would be appreciated
 
I am new to wheel stands or playseats. Now I seriously am thinking about to get one. As I only live in one room, there is no chance for an playseat I think. It takes too much space.

So now I have 3 candidates on my list that I found but am not sure which one to take. Or there are maybe even better ones for low budget? I hope you guys can help me.

So there is the playseat challenge for 200€. On the reviews and videos it looks nice and a big plus, it is very comfortable for even long racing sessions. It is a bit pricy I think. And it does not look very stable somehow. And I don't like the fixing for pedals.

Then I found the next level wheel stand for around 170€. Looks very stable and in the insidesimracing review they say it is great. I like it that it can handle heavy pedals like my Fanatec clubsport pedals. But here too, pricy. And a big con is that it has no seat. So you have to use your computer seat I guess. And I don't know how that will turn out on long racing sessions.

3rd option is the fanatec wheel stand. For 70€ it's the cheapest. I don't know more about it, watched no vids.

Wich one is the best you guys think? Or is there a better one I don't know about? Is there even an cheap diy one?

Does anyone know if Human Racing GT is compatible with Fanatec Clubsport shifter?
I could not find any info on this in their webpage. I see that they have some kind of mount for G27 shifter but don't see any options for other shifter like CSS.
I've been checking cockpit master list and youtube reviews for few weeks now and HR will be my choice.
However missing shifter mount makes me a sad panda :(
