I read lots of terrible reviews of PSVR and driveclub, watched a load of video clips on youtube, but thought what the hell, I'll have a look for myself.
For me, just being 'In' a real 3d world is amazing, being able to drive a car in that world is the icing on the cake.

I don't know if it's something your eyes get used to, or just better at adjusting it on your head. But it looks clearer to me every time I put it on.

I'm not the biggest car collecting fan, but I love being able to get inside the cars in a video game, look out the rear view window etc, I have driven a VW camper and a cobra kit car in real life, so I appreciate how 'real' it looks and feels driving them in VR. Cockpit view on TV doesn't come close to how it looks in real 3d, the textures have depth that doesn't get represented on a TV.

I like watching top gear/grand tour, being able to go switch my PS4 on and be in the cars is amazing for any car fan. I've just watched the latest Grand Tour episode with Rally tribute, now I'm off to spend the afternoon in Dirt rally VR.

Haven't watched Top Gear nor Grand Tour since Clarkson's meltdown led to the separation, is the Amazon show any good?

I think top gear was OK the 2nd season without Clarkson, and am hoping it will come back.

The Grand Tour has been good, the episode where Clarkson does a spoof of a Ken Block driving video has probably been the funniest thing I've seen.
I was laughing and crying, especially when he was dancing on the pedals heel & toeing.

Edit :

Wondering how many wheel users have got PSVR.

If not, what are you waiting for? It's amazing.

I have it but I am very disapointed with the capabilities of GT Sport VR. With update 1.11 nothing has changed.
I do not understand why GT Sport does not improve anything about the vr capabilities of the game.
Of course the limitations are clear, the PS4 is not powerful enough for the complete vr experience of GT Sport.
But why limit vr to 2 laps, why is the only other car so slow, why can we have no time trial?
These questions appear frequently on forums, but they are completely ignored. It would be nice if they would at least give some reasons why these things cannot be implemented.
I bought my PS 4 Pro and PS VR especially for racing games, but as for GT Sport the result is still very meagre!
For the rest the game is beautiful, the cars look great and driving them feels very good. I would love some more open wheelers.
Why not improve the vr capabilities of the above mentioned?

The new update not only added time trials to the VR Tour Mode, but the races are now longer and they net you experience and credits. I also think that the AI car in race mode is more competitive, but still generally easy to beat. I like it.

Here are the "PSVR truths"

Those who criticize the resolution in PSVR haven't tried PSVR
Those who love it have tried it
The sense of "being there" is truly amazing
GTS provides a PSVR experience which is less than the full game, and is scarcely a reason on its own to buy PSVR
The Honda open-wheeler is awesome in GTS PSVR
VR can cause nausea, so take it in small doses until you get used to it
There are many PSVR games, both racing and non-racing
If you liked Skyrim, you owe it to yourself to experience Skyrim VR

AMEN to this!

I have PSVR and since the last update (time trial), i love it!
I raced an hour on Mountain Trail with the Mazda Gr.4 Atenza and wow... cockpit is insane and the race track too !

A good friend of mine raced little formula (he did his level 1 and 2 at Jim Russel racing school in Montreal) and when he tried my PSVR on my PS4 PRO, with my t-GT and my Playseat challenge he cried. He was so happy... he said this is like real ! You can feel the vibrations in the chair he said. haha!

Personnally, it is fun to play with PSVR sometimes but i prefer to play on my 65'' 4K Sony Bravia. I play at 6 feet from the tv. The view is awesome.

I have a wheel + PSVR, and since the VR Time Trial update, I absolutely love it! Even without the rest of the game in VR, the feeling of really "being" in your dream cars is fantastic, and I'm happy just hotlapping endlessly, pretending I actually "own" these cars. In fact, I think PSVR is a great tool for selling real cars. Because of PSVR, I would consider a Mercedes because of the interior (And I'm a lifelong BMW nerd). And I now know I could never buy a Corvette because the interior doesn't do it for me. Hell, I'd even consider an Alpine A110, thanks to my PSVR experience.
