Wheelie cars DO WORK in GT6 :D

Are you using traction control? I tried the set up but it didn't work for me.

Edit: I had the wrong tires on.

I got the KTM X Bow to do it last night by accident, it looks a lot easier to do than in GT5.

I got a Veyron to do it, though it was unexpected going down the straight at Sarthe at 200+ MPH. It was a wheelie none the less!

I think if you use the setup in his video a lot of cars will wheelie, I'm going to try it on some muscle cars. There's another video on youtube that shows the alfa stradale doing a wheelie.

ya all you have to do with th X Bow is just put 115kg of ballast and set to 50 ( so it's in the back ) and boom wheelie car

Lifting the front wheels is really common in drag racing in real life, not that unbelievable.
They have wheelie bars on the back for that reason though. In GT there is just an invisible force stopping cars going over.

Why? Are you serious? Do you thing doing a Veyron wheelie in real like if possible??

I mean you have to know nothing about physics to ask such questions...sorry
Has anyone ever re-engineered a Veyron to become a wheelie car?

Like, drivetrain, gearbox, vastly different suspension setup, weight setup, tyres...

Drivetrain and gearbox has nothing to do with it. Suspension - yes, but not with such small changes like in GT6. Weight setup - yes, but not with such small changes like in GT6. Tyres - not those which are in GT6.

Again, doing the same tuning in real life, as in GT6, there is no way you can wheelie Veyron IRL. Not a chance.

To do a wheelie, you have to have LIGHT drag car, which has HUGE (in diameter) tyres with lots and lots of rubber. Not a 2 tone low clearance (ride height) high speed car with low profile tyres and 4wd

guys, you need to remember that this is just something to do for a laugh. It may be possible to do in real life with every car, with varying amount of preparation work, but you need to forget about real life. Unfortunately PD's physics aren't very, how shall I say, realistic at the moment so it's easier to do in game. It requires less work in GT, and its just a bit of fun.
If you want to discuss the ability to do this in real life it should be discussed else where, this thread is something that i'm sure everyone will try, its a game, huge difference.
Just my opinion though, but i'll be trying this, thanks @KustomNitrous 👍

If you happened to look at my post before your "comment" you would have saw that I said some cars are clearly a physics flaw (Veyron being a good example). How ever, many wheelie cars are pretty realistic in the sense that they could easily be done in real life.

Haha, for real. I get a kick out of armchair physicists..
