WSP customer service is seriously lacking. I ordered a Wheel Stand Pro from them and after a few weeks they sent me a fake / invalid tracking number. After a week of waiting in futility for a tracking number to work, I'm getting annoyed.

I've emailed them several times, and now they just ignore my emails! Very frustrating.

I'm going to file a complaint against WSP through PayPal and get my money back, and just order an alternative. Over £100.00 to this company for an invalid tracking number and ignored emails isn't my idea of a good way to spend my hard earned GBP!

The problem is.. what is the alternative lol.. not the old ironing board surely!

Anyone have any suggestions for a similar alternatives? No fixed chair-stand combo, must be similar to WSP in design / function.

XLerator Wheel Stands (xwstands.com)- everyone seems to know about the WSP, but XL stands are under-represented (at least on this forum), which is a shame. It's a good product with a simple, functional design and I really like mine.

At the moment, it looks like most of the models are backordered due to demand, so there's a pending waiting list for availability in the new year sometime.

This is the first I've ever heard of bad customer service from WheelstandPro.

I bought a stand from them about this time last year and found them a great company to deal with. I had my stand within about three days of ordering.

I hope you can get your issue resolved mate 👍

Thanks for the suggestions guys!

In terms of WSP customer service. You do get quick replies before paying, but my experience is after any problems, they go underground and don't reply.

After I bit more investigation i found that even if you use the source polish tracking site at :-

http://www.pocztex.pl/dokl_inf_telef.php

This tracking number seems to be for a package shipping from Poland to France. Not much use to me as I'm in the UK! But again I don't really know as they are not replying to any of my emails.

WSP did look good, but I need something desperately.. B-Spec is getting boring now lol

OP

May i suggest you contact Seb via the main website and ask for his help?.

I found these guys to be really good and helpful when i had an issue with my stand.

They was prompt and curtious, and they didnt charge me extra for shipping parts to me after i had accidentally damaged them. The bars that attatch the pedals to the unit itself was the only issue, and again it was my own stupid fault.

Contact Seb and see if he can help.

I ordered my wheelstand pro from them with no problems, prompt replies to my emailed questions, and fast delivery. I ordered through the USA distributer.

Btw sometimes tracking numbers take a little while to actually work. Thats really down to the shipping company used. Ive had stuff off of Amazon and the tracking number didnt work until a day or two before the item arrived.

Regards them not emailing you, i dont know whats up with that.

I've got nothing but praise for WSP. When my conversion kit arrived (360 conversion to G27) there was a bit missing and I got really prompt service from them.

I think the tracking numbers only work once the parcel reaches the UK though.

Okay... I ordered mine on 28 November 2010... have been in constant contact with Seb who has been very helpful, even offering to return my money because he thought it wouldn't be here for Christmas.

He sent me a Pacelforce tracking number on 14 December and the tracking number was active, pretty much within 12hrs.

I've just checked the tracking number and apparently it has been "Received in destination country" so hopefully it should be here pretty soon.

Give Seb an email again - really hope you get it sorted soon.

PS, I'm not posting just to brag...just to say things are moving for me - maybe they just gave you an incorrect tracking ID, maybe a digit out or something. Good luck, fingers crossed (let us know how you get on).

Seemed to become live pretty quickly for me, and showed the following details:

15-12-2010 WARSAW 3 (POLAND) Forwarded for export
14-12-2010 Delivery Agent - POLAND Collected from customer

I've sent him a few emails past couple of days.. no reply. I'm not going to keep banging my head against a brick wall. Either they are ignoring me, or a mistake has been made at their end and they are hoping it'll resolve itself, and trying to hide out of the way makes me angry.

I got a tracking number emailed to me on the 10th, well before you, and it's still not working. I work full time in import / export and dealing with tracking numbers are a day to day occurence.

The number they sent me is not correct, that's about all that can be said. I can't get a new number from them, because my emails are being ignored, hence why I say Wheel Stand Pro customer service needs work.

Yes, the polish tracking site shows that the number I posted above was sent to destination country "FR", which looks like France.

I don't live in France, so that number is not right.

The main point is that I can't seem to get any replies to my emails about this.

Of course, if and when I get this resolved I will update the thread!

But.. it's still pretty poor form for them to ignore my questions about the tracking number discrepancy.

It is poor. Just find this bizarre as Seb replied to me normally within 30 minutes of my email. Which email address are you mailing?

SEB = wheelstandpro@wheelstandpro.com

KAROLINA = order@wheelstandpro.com

Both emails met with the sound of silence over the past 2 days.

As I said before I had a problem, the email response time was wonderful. Now that there is a problem, the email response time is non-existant lol

I got my tracking number from Karolina (it was on 23rd of June) and her email was payments@wheelstandpro.com. Try this one, maybe you get lucky.

All I can say is that Seb was replying to my emails within minutes and I received my stand something like 4 or 5 days after ordering it.

Good luck and keep trying :)

When i bought my wheelstand pro. I got it delivered like 4 days after ordering it. I also mailed them prior to ordering it, and they responded really fast to my mail.

This was a bit over a year ago though.

They also have a facebook page too. Might be worth messaging them from there.
My experience has been a very happy one with regards to ordering my WSP and a WSP upgrade kit.

hmm.. everyone is happy with WSP service, apart from me.. I feel like a leper lol.

I'm not going to post anything on their facebook page.. I don't have an account there.

They have had plenty time to reply with the the correct tracking number.

I mean they must be aware that the FR code on the tracking website means France? I DON'T LIVE IN FRANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I already told them I'll wait until monday before filing paypal non-receipt. Maybe everything will be allright. If Monday comes and i'm still on their treat-like-the-invisible-man list, then I'll feel better once I file a not received dispute. You never know, perhaps that will force them to attend to my problem, rather than go into hiding.

I ordered a Speedblack Evo from play.com.
It took a few days to arrive, but I have to say I am pretty pleased with the product. It was £79.99.
Full steel construction, nicely finished etc. Good adjustability too.
Allows you to use any style of chair too. I use it with a regular kitchen chair and it's pretty good.
I'd like to upgrade my wheel now though.
Inonly have a Driving Force EX PC version.
Works pretty good though. I'd like me some 900 deg rotation to be fair.

Is there any wobble on the Evo?.. looking at pics, it does look a little flimsy compared to the WSP. Other than that it looks ideal, but just a little concerned over stability on the stand in the heat of battle!

Same here- Had mine about a year now and no issues whatsoever. Hope you get it resolved!

Why do you need a tracking number? It's still not coming faster or something...

I have a tracking number. It's not working.

I think my concern is legitimate, give someone else in this thread ordered at the same time, or just later and does have a working tracking number.
