When GTAV arrives

Right, its just over ten more days until release and I was wondering when the rest of you will expect to receive your copy. Also, what are your plans when you finally get hold of it?

Me? Well, once my agonizing wait for the postman is over on the 17th, I will sprint over to my PS3 and get the disc into the slot as fast as physically possible. If that means demolishing the the packaging, then so be it.
I'm kinda thinking of NOT looking at the map provided whilst waiting for the painful install so I can explore the map myself, but then again as soon as the start menu pops up I will see it anyway. I will definately look through the manual though:tup:

So, what about you guys?
 
I like to look through the manual and look at the map first when I get my hands on a new GTA, I should roll a red carpet out for the postman. :lol:
 
I will get it although I won't play it until the 19th. Due to other reasons. Like a present for me after I get done.
 
I probably get it.... then go to work..... spend all day with it sat on my desk looking up at me..... begging me to play it. I'll then go home, get the kids off to bed, have something to eat, speak to my wife etc. eventually, I'll probably get to put my PS3 on. Wait about 30minutes of any updates/patches/game install to finish.... then I might get about 30 minutes play before I need to go to bed to start the next day...... have fun playing guys :( lol

Also,my brother will be in school when it arrives, so with me being a horrible git I will text him pictures of the following:

1) The case in my hands
2) The map
3) Me playing the game
4) My smug face knowing he will have to wait several hours to play it

That's not too much is it?:sly:

I shall camp by the door and open it before the postie gets here, and run of like a giggling schoolgirl when i have the magical post...
 
I'll have to wait all day at work before getting home to play it. :grumpy:

But I'll be playing it all night as soon as I'm home. I'll skip dinner as well.
 
If I can get it as early as Friday that week, I will have to rest first then check over the contents of the box then play the game myself.
 
My mom will pick it up for me and I will be in school till 6PM. Insteqd of being sleepy hole day at every lesson I would be pumped up to go home.
 
I'll be picking it up monday night at the midnight opening, then rush home and shove it in the slot to see what happens.
 
1) Receive from post.
2) Go up stairs and put it in console.
3) Whilst installing get some food.
4) Take a massive dump.
5) Play.
 
Get home, demand any post I've recieved, run upstairs, install, get food/drink, run back upstairs, read manual, play when it's installed.

That's if it does come on the 17th. :lol:
 
I can just imagine how horrible for any postmen that are GTA fans, as they will be handling many GTA cases and handing them to others whilst they have to wait to play theirs. :lol:
 
When it comes you will never see me here again any time soon :lol:
 
Well, I'll put it into my console once I get it from the post, and then wait for it to install, while eating.

Pretty normal, I suppose.
 
Go to Tesco after school, pick it up and shove it in my drive. Then no-one will see or hear of me again... :D
 
Picking it up after work Tuesday. I'll have Wednesday off so I can wait an extra day instead of getting it at midnight.
 
Get up at 8am, shower, then drive straight up to Sainsburys to pick my copy up. I've pre-ordered it from there because I'm pretty much guaranteed my copy on the 17th, whereas those who've pre-ordered from Amazon or other online retailers will most likely get it but some won't. I didn't want to chance it really. It also means I don't have the agonising wait for the postman to turn up, for those who will be, have fun with that :sly:

I've got the day off work by a happy coincidence, so I will be able to play it to my hearts content.
 
Fix the double posting while your at it ;).

For me it's, wait for it to arrive then goodbye world for 2 weeks :D.
 
Put it in my PS3, lose my mind. Become vitamin D deficient (is that the one you get from the sun?), get sore eyes from the TV, ditch friends and family, wear an arse groove into the couch like Homer, probably fry my fat PS3. Then maybe some online

2) Get my copy.
3) Go home.
4) Play until my eyeballs bleed.
5) ???????????
6) Profit.

2: Unwrap mail package and plastic wrapping
3: Switch on TV & PS3
4: Insert game into PS3
5: Install game
6: Have a read of manual while game installs
7: Sit through opening and intro cutscenes
8: Finally start playing.

Looks like I'm also planning to do the same way.
 
My wife is getting her copy at EB Games midnight launch, so if she plays it when we get home i'll prolly go to bed and wait till the afternoon when my copy should hopefully arrive, then read the manual and look at the map (not the blueprint one) while it installs.
