hehehehe... we australians are the first among the world to get our hands on GTA V..

me im going to JB HI-FI at 10pm so when they open their doors at 11pm i can run in and grab a copy of GTA V then stand around JB until 12am when they can start legally selling copies i found out if a copy is sold before 12am even if its 11:59.59pm they get fined $50,000

then i'll go home and stay up the rest of the nite and complain that im tired LOL

So... about the Australian version... are guns replaced with bubble guns, blood pools removed, swearing censored, and when you approach a prostitute, a message saying "SEX=BAD" covers the screen?

It wasn't rated R18+ in Australia because we didn't have an R18+ classification back then. The ratings board approved the R18+ rating early this year.
As far as I am aware there has been NO CONTENT REMOVED from the Australian edition ( here's hoping the report I read was accurate )

I'll be ramming traffic offline in my highly modified Phantom (the semi truck). After that I'll find and modify a Bus and ram traffic with it. XD

But Rockstar didn't confirm yet if you can customize those rigs.
 
When I get the game, I'm gonna do the first few missions, then just drive around and enjoy the scenery. :)
 
After telling my Mrs to stop rolling her eyes, i'm just going to go for a long drive, take in the sights and check out the tunes on the radio.

I may accompany this with some wine and a selection of cheeses.

I hope so. LS Customs looks big enough to stuff a big rig in there. I'll be mad if they don't allow you to.
 
I will pick it up Tuesday 10am, go back home....aaaand will study Thermodynamics for my test on Friday. :yuck:

I´m not quite sure if i really won´t play it till Friday :sly:
 
After last week, turns out I'll just head to the midnight launch & grab it. I was able to grab Tuesday & Wednesday off, so I'll have a solid 40 or so hours to play it. :sly:
 
First thing I'll do is grab the first car I see and just drive aimlessly around soaking in the atmosphere, then park at a cliff edge and see the view. After that, reminisce about how far gaming has come and what lays ahead for GTA and smile. :)
 
1. Copy Arrives in mail at 11am
2. I Arrive Home at 2:30pm
3. Throw bag and grab some pop tarts
4. Play
5. ???????
6. Pass Out
7. Repeat steps 2-6 the next day
 
Well, I didn't preorder, mainly because I live in a very rural area and the mail service is very unreliable, so I'll go get a copy Tuesday morning. Speaking of which, I hopefully have Tuesday off from work due to coincidence and my plan is to wake up, go buy a couple cigars (to help savor the moment lol) smoke one on the drive to the store, buy GTA V, drive home, smoke the second cigar while the game loads, play until I can't keep my eyes open any more.

When my GTA V arrives I probably won't be playing it because my brother just broke the right analog stick playing ****ing Gears Of War. Thus basically sealed my thoughts of getting GTA V anytime soon.

Edit:Man, reading what you guys are doing on the first day is depressing for me.

I'm here waiting untill midnight for the store to open it's doors and give me my pre-ordered copy...

After that I'm going live (about 3hrs from now) on my youtube channel showing my first exploration in the game.
