When Moderators Go Bad

One of our former moderators, BMW///M3, has been banned from GTPlanet. After informing us that he would be leaving (to many people's doubts), he promptly abused his moderator priveledges, rampantly deleting threads for no rhyme or reason. This is inexcusable behavior, and infuriates me to no end.

It has been a terrible day for GTPlanet, and hopefully we can get this behind us and move on. Thank you for your continued support!

Hrmph! I guess that explains why my post count went down by ~10 just today. Man, I was platinum yesterday!

I'll get it back, that's no prob....if it were a server error or something I wouldn't mind....but why would BWW///M3 do such a thing? Pffffft....Good riddance, then.

Ok, I thought that BMW would just forget about that Porchse guy in a few days but even after the thread was closed by a mod BMW made a new one just to drag it on. I didnt think everything would escalate to this huge thing bout him quitting or even gping on a rampage of deleting threads. Now we have him banned from here. Wow this all happened fast. it was for the better of GTP tthat Jordan did tis though so I back him up on this one. :thumbsup:

Oh, did I mention that my post count has as well deminished. I was at least into the 2460's yesterday and today I am at 2440's. Posts really can be made up easily and they are not that big of a deal to me anymore. If I were still a younger GTP member being set back about 15 posts would tick the crap out of me but, I have enough posts now that I dont care and all this does is make me think of how BMW wasnt a very good mod afterall.

Thanks for your comments, everyone. Here is a list of everything he destroyed. I think most of them were his own threads, but there's really no way to know for sure, now. I'm very sorry all of this happened, but I had no way of knowing he would "fly off the hook" like this.

Jordan thank you for the list. I posted in some of these threads which is more than likely the reason my posts went down. We at GTP are losing mods left and right here recently.

I know I dont venture here much, but it seems everytime I come back to visit, its in chaos.
Hate to hear that BMW is gone and he did so much to contribute to the site in ideas etc.
I can understand his gripe to a point, but to malisciously delete threads in spite was totally uncalled for. I guess thats ppl for you.
On a good note, Ive been playing the game again and have gone to 32 percent complete and try to play every day I can.
Jordan, dont let this get you down, this is just one of those growing experiences associated with such a diverse group of ppl.

Hi The_Hunter, welcome to GTPlanet! When someone is banned, they will not be able to access or post messages to the forum, but their messages are not deleted.

unfortunately, most of BMW's posts were deleted when he left. he deleted most of them. nobody really knows why.
