For FF cars start in 2nd gear... when i launch i launch around 5-6k... and shift right after hte redline thing blink... to gain more... but yeah it depends on the car too...

You guys are all talking about shifting the right time and so on ... but the only place where it is really worthwhile is in the weekly races here ! I nthe game self against the AI, you can use any poor technique ... they are useless enough
