Haven't played it in a while. Reason is that I find it hard to get in time to the the download which takes 32 hours for me. Tried it earlier on but failed overnight.

Wanted to create thread like this a while ago, but was afraid of being smashed.

February

My excuse for playing GT6 so much is that it takes away all my problems and thoughts and just clears my mind. That, and that I'm pretty lonely and bored with nothing to do over half the time. :indiff:

I played yesterday. I play it like I have done since GT4 came out. To me I get disappointed with each version of GT but I will still play everyday for at least half hour.

Haven't played it in almost 2 months. Most likely the last time too.

2 days ago, just to collect the new VGT cars. Haven't had any real desire to play lately, extremely displeased with the lack of new content and new/fixed features.

I find myself playing the game from time to time just to grab a random car and do some hot laps on the Nurb or Willow Springs like yesterday. I get bored too quickly and turn off again. The lack of gameplay elements which would keep me entertaint in this game are just missing so I am hoping GT7 does better.
The painting of the breaks now makes no sense for me either since I can't even see them during gameplay because you can't even rotate your chase cam. And I am no photomode guy who goes there and looks at them...

I play it almost everyday but not for long. Also I am involved in a nice community who does weekly racing so I do all the training and all.
But the problem in this GT os the career mode and its lack of contect. I mean how is it possible for a game which has so many cars and tracks, day/night cycle with rain, to be so boring.. Their AI is so weak, one of the biggest reason, but the real reason may be that there are way too less races in career, and licence is now a joke. Befire it used to be very challenging challenges with many many challenges in only one license (Im mentioning GT4 of course), but now its just so easy that I have no fun with this game anymore.

The problem: There are so many content, cars and tracks, but PD has done the worst career mode with it, with stupid AI.
How to solve it: Make a competitive AI and.. way more races by classes! There are only 5 races for GT500, one for GT300, one for GT3... I mean why don't they do something better with it like a special mode for GT3 where you have tons of races, a special one for Nascar and all other things...

Also B Spec and endurance are missing, eith track creator, quick match, Community options... And if you want my honest opinion, these elements won't fix the game either with the career content we have in GT6. What we need is a strong new GT with many many interesting races, like older GT where getting fast cars wasn't so easy and fast, where so many different kind of races. And one of the most important issue: A good AI.

Thanks for the answers guys, keep em coming.

Its good to see that quite a few people are still getting enjoyment out of GT.

Yesterday, getting VGT cars, before it somewhere around 1.09 update.
Seems like few hours per month is fine for this nowadays, GT5 get over 1h/day from start to end.

Maybe some update kicks more in to it and I'll start play it again. 1.09 and 1.10 are nearly getting me back on my rig.

Game is paused while I post in this thread! ;)

Am trying to play a few Seasonal Events before they close down. If I may rage for a moment.. *sigh* why if I brush a "wall" in a Rally TT my time is invalidated????? On a 4 minute track??:mad: Move the walls back from the rally track, let me get a little wild in the corners! ArgH!! ok I'm done!

This morning, and i will be on it in a couple of minutes.

I always play online, couldn't care less about the arcade mode.

When i log in, i usually search for a good clean room with comfort or sport tires, have a couple of races and then i go watch the replays, spending some time taking photos. When i want to tune a car, i start a room online because the grip level tends to be different from the arcade mode.

This morning, five minutes after i turned the PS3 on, i was playing with a group of Japanese around the Nordschelife:

Always a blast.
