How long do you think it will take you to get 100% in GT5

Poll added If I could type faster or knew what I was doing 3 people wouldn't have replied before I made poll

By finishing what I'm asking is doing all races letting "BOB" drive but player driving A-spec all races. Online would be separate unless you would need trophies.

I guess 100% would come down to getting Platinum Trophy, without "BOB's" help.
I wish I would of thought of the KAZ answer to include. If a mod could add it that would be great, but at least I added the "Mission 34" option and GT6.

I never got 100% in GT4 so I think thats the correct answer for GT5. Once I get to the endurance races I start getting very bored. Same with any racing game.

Nobody has any idea of how many races there will be etc, however I will always race to get new cars until I eventually own them all, and then I have the online aspect of the game.

I think a lot of the people here will give you the same answer. GT5 wont end for us until we have GT6 in our hands. Even then people will go back to GT5 now and again. To alot of people Gran Turismo is more than just a game, Unike GTA/DiRT/HawX/NFS/Burnout... GT has replay value that never ends.

Yea, I will probably never finish it either...I race much more online than off...like with DiRT2, I am a level 201 FP online...and like a 47 offline...LOL

I have finished all the GT's but have re-started them all...and left them on the 2nd or 3rd stint unfinished.

Well considering how big the game is gonna be, I'm gonna say MINIMUM a year, and that's if you will be keep good time for the game.. but for me I'd say 2 years lol

I didn't start GT's until the PS3 first launched so I didn't play 1,2, or 3. Played games on PC until PC got too old for games didn't want to buy new PC. Bought 2 & 3 but got to 99% in GT4 then GT5P came out and the graphics on 2 & 3 didn't look too pretty on the HDTV so never finished either. Saw TT Trophy at K-Mart for $9.99 think I should buy even if I don't like using controller in games (use G25)?

You can't finish GT5 because it have a track editor which creates an infinite play time of the game. Every day is a new track and new challenge. So I think that you can not finish GT5

Almost certainly never. I got there or thereabouts with 1-3, but by the time 4 came around I'd come to the conclusion that gaming time is too limited to spend it doing parts of games that I don't enjoy and I'll probably be skipping any events that I don't enjoy after the first couple of races.

Surely the game is considered complete when you have completed all licences, all races, all challenges, and purchased/won all cars in the game? I don't see how having a "course creator" for random ad-hoc events has anything to do with completing a game...

I'll never complete it though, course editor or not! :)

Something tells me GT5 will be the most hardest game to get a Platinum Trophy

I'll probably finish it on December 21st 2012. Just in time for the Mayan apocalypse.

I would guess it's about a good year for me to complete it to it's fullest. It's taken me about a year to just about complete the career in Forza 3 as well.

Where's the option that says "How exactly am I supposed to know how long it will take me to finish a game that has an amount of content mostly unknown to me?

👍
Probably quicker than Kaz took to finish it.

👍👍

I've never finished any of the other ones so I can bet that I won't finish this one. I have the habit of racing alot of the same events over and over with different cars either because I like the event and types of cars in the races or just keep trying to see how many Aspec points I can get out of a certain race.

The races that don't interest me usually get left alone.

Might take a different approach to this one since hopefully it'll be loaded with all kinds of events.

Knowing that i will not be able to dedicate all my time on the game, i suspect it will take me years before i can satisfactorily say that i finished it... i will bet even that i will not finish it by the time GT6 comes out...

voted 3 years or more...

but i will enjoy this game to the very last details!

I have yet to get 100% in a GT game yet, but GT5 will be the first. I expect to be done on November 3rd!!

In all honesty, we can't tell because we don't know exactly how much content there is. There may be twice as many races as GT4 had because of the number of venues, who knows. All that I know, is that my first goal is all gold licenses, then 100%, then all cars. The 100% goal will probably be broken down based on the specialty challenges too, might do those first.
