Where are people on the Sebastian Vettel challenge?

I have done the first two at bronze level. All the videos on youtube are golds. Just wondering, I must not be the only one struggling to get at least a bronze.

I have bronze on all three but took me about an hour and half just to get that. Some more work could probably yield me silvers but the car is not really that fun to drive, its almost retarded feeling when I get back into a normal car.

In order, I have a gold, silver and bronze.

Did have Bronze, Silver, Bronze but put in some time on Nurburg GP and got gold. Now working on golding the rest.

I'll let you know it 12-16 weeks when I'm done...

I can't decide if I want to give up yet... Got within a second of bronze of the first one, but it's just too frustrating. Haven't even attempted the other races yet. I think I need a better wheel, in order to do it.

I do not waste my time on a hyperthetical car that does not exist .. I do rather prefer to drive cars that exist , so i don't even use the concept cars i win.

Why waste time on it ? I have the X2010 gift ticket unopened from reaching Level 35 B-Spec.

What will GT6 bring in the tune shop ? Wings for it so you can fly around the courses i wonder or warp speed or Chubakka as a co-pilot for Rally Events. IMO it should not have been included in the game and is nothing more than a gimmick. PD really let themselves down on that one.

It's not PD alone, it's the dream of one of if not the best F1 designer ever. If that car can go that fast it's because in the mind of Newey the car is possible, given the time and resources.

I'm not saying I enjoy driving it, I have more fun with a twitchy wild ride from the 60's in the Green Hell than going on that spaceship, but it's nice to have him when in long endurances.

dark_ruffo IMO it detracts more than it contributes to the game, especially online. I don't need some testosrone ride in a virtual machine i produce it naturally and when i sit in a real car in real life my bollox touch the seat, you get my drift ? I aint pre-pubescent waiting for them to drop and aint into gimmicks and frills being introduced into a game series that prided itself on being the REAL driving simulator .. What is real about fiction ?
Absolutely no disrespect to those who enjoy it i will shake your hand and tell you i am happy for you, but for me i would rather sit and endure Rocky 6 to Rocky 70 as he walks out in his zimmer frame,is wheeled out in his wheel chair and then they even dig him up to fight again if i have to endure fiction, then maybe in reality time wise this car will be possible.Until then it will remain an unopened gift.

I dislike the X2010 with a passion, it's just stupid, any idiot can win a race with it, you don't need any skill whatsoever with it, heck people don't even know how to tune it. It should be like the Ferrari Formula 1 cars, only usable in Arcade mode tbh.

I was trying to get bronze on the Monza track, since it's the easy track of the bunch. After 2 hours and only finishing the race 3 times and being 9 seconds off bronze... I gave up.

Sixaxis controllers aren't good for this car at all. If you try to drive fast, you oversteer/understeer yourself off the track or into that rail that sticks out on that one corner... you know the one. You lose all sorts of time on the first chicane, 2nd chicane is easy, first turn after it... rail sticks out and gets me sometimes, S at the end of the straight, can't go full speed, but close, last turn, have to go slow at first then the car get's into the groove. If you try to power through to early, you understeer off the track. First lap time of 1:12:9xx, 2nd lap time of 1:05:9xx seems like the best I can do with the controller.

I know lot's of people have the wheel and call this track easy, but I would love to see someone with a controller get the bronze and put it on Youtube. Seeing the wheel videos does nothing but make me sigh and wish I had a wheel. House and car payments come first. LOL

A wheel does not guarantee completing the challenge. I have bronze (close to silver) in Monza but I m 5 seconds away from bronze at the stupid Nürburgring - so I didnt even try Suzuka yet.

I beat a noob driving the Vettell in an Integra, 3 laps around Suzuka. He kept coming off. I agree with u to some extent, but to drive the car well it takes skill and a lot more precision than normal cars.

I wish that f2007 were usable, that's my favprite car right there, has a better fun factor than carbon x1

All bronze here with dfgt couldn't get to within 15 secs of bronze with ds3. Had to reach deep into my bag of talent and found it was empty, happy with bronze for now

A fun car which you can drive very fast if you wind back the downforce but beware lol
