Anyway if I did get an RX-7 it'd be an FC TurboII, not an FD.
Yeah, the RX8 is beautiful, inside and out. The lack of oomph in the low end is apparent, but I'm expecting Mazda to surprise us with a RZ like higher end model, that would maybe add turbo to the mix. I mean, being naturaly aspirated, it still has only 20hp less than the RX7 had with twin turbos. If you through a turbo on the Renisis, You'd have all the oomph you would need.Originally posted by CudaMan
And that's one reason I'm not too sure I want a used turbo car.Complex and finicky with high maintenence. Anyway if I did get an RX-7 it'd be an FC TurboII, not an FD.
I really want to love the RX-8. It's beautiful, the interior is sumptuous, it handles well, but there's just a lack of oomph. Maybe a mazdaspeed version if they ever make one.
The S2000 is a real driver's car and a joy to drive. It's expensive, and has a fragile clutch and rear end though. I'm also not a huge fan of Torsens.
There's no perfect car for me.![]()
Of course!Do you have any plans of getting GT4 when it arives?

With an expensive car like an RX-8 or S2000 I would be leaving them pretty much stock.
Don't get me wrong about the FD either, I love the car. It's not the right one for me right now though.
As for STis and Evos... no thanks.Fast and practical they may be, but AWD just isn't my idea of fun.
Of course!
Where the FD engine really has it over the Renesis is torque.
