i guess it depends on what you're using it for. Don't use an S2000 for a Family car, and dont use an RX-8 for a drag car (unless you can find a way of increasing acelleration considerably). But you can use an FD for everything! :trouble: Well kinda. :D

STi's and Evo's are the best all around cars IMO. You can take it to the drag track, to the circuit, auto-x, and it still has the qualities of a good daily driver. I really don't see how you could go wrong at all with an Evo or STi.

I agree with him, but I like the STi a **** load more then the Evo.

I really want to love the RX-8. It's beautiful, the interior is sumptuous, it handles well, but there's just a lack of oomph. Maybe a mazdaspeed version if they ever make one.

The S2000 is a real driver's car and a joy to drive. It's expensive, and has a fragile clutch and rear end though. I'm also not a huge fan of Torsens.

There's no perfect car for me. :)
Yeah, the RX8 is beautiful, inside and out. The lack of oomph in the low end is apparent, but I'm expecting Mazda to surprise us with a RZ like higher end model, that would maybe add turbo to the mix. I mean, being naturaly aspirated, it still has only 20hp less than the RX7 had with twin turbos. If you through a turbo on the Renisis, You'd have all the oomph you would need.

Do you have any plans of getting GT4 when it arives?;)

It's probably the one they had at SevenStock last September. 3 rotor turbo from Acosta Racing? http://www.pbase.com/image/21858386

With an expensive car like an RX-8 or S2000 I would be leaving them pretty much stock.

Don't get me wrong about the FD either, I love the car. :) It's not the right one for me right now though.

As for STis and Evos... no thanks. :) Fast and practical they may be, but AWD just isn't my idea of fun.

Of course!

Where the FD engine really has it over the Renesis is torque.

Nice to see another FR enthusiast. 👍
I am glad to see you will be getting GT4. I will look forward to drifting with you when it comes out. ;)
