Where does chrome/matte paints go?

I got 30 cars in my garage and it said I got a matte yellow paint, I was quite exited because I can use it on my new lambogini But its not in my items and its not available to use when I go to gt auto D:

Thats only place the paints will go to.

Try sorting the paint list to show only matte or chrome, or maybe the list is sorted by date acquired in earliest to latest order, try choosing 'sort ascending' if descending is selected (or the other way round, I can't work out which is which).

This is correct, if it's not there then I don't know what's happened.

I just tried that, it just says No items.. Well I feel ripped off now

I just canceled a trade for a chrome paint, Not taking the risk of loosing it as it seams I can't own any

Maybe you used it on the Lambo already without realising??

As a last attempt I restored a previous game save I had as back up just to test, go to 30 cars. It says number of cars in garage has reached 30 you have received dark silver matte paint (or something like that), it saves and I go to check in items/paints its simply not there.

The last time I earned a Paint, Chrome I think it was, I wanted to paint my Merc SLS with it. I took it to GT Auto, from there chose "Paint Car", with that opened, the new Paint I earned was at the top of the list, usually when you get new Paint(s) "Date Acquired" is the default setting, the new Paint will be at the top of the list, choose it and Paint your Car. You can also from the Menu choose varying options to find your Paint, the choices come in Solid, Metallic, Pearl, Chrome, Matte, Colour Shift and so on, you're bound to find what you earned there somewhere.
