i have seen tonnes of awesome gameplay footage from e3. the day and night transitions are even better than i imagined.

what i still havent seen is some nascar gameplay. has anyone been to e3? if anyone is planning on going can you please look into this?

thanks.

Where is it written that Polyphony are obligated to show absolutely everything from the game? And why is it so crucial that they show the NASCAR gameplay footage? It's been twenty-four hours since the trailer was debuted, and there's going to be a presentation of the game some time within the next twenty-four. There's plenty of time left.

And why can't you let PD keep a few things as surprises for when the game is released in November?

Did you not see the new footage from E3? There is a clip of someone scrolling through all the cars in the E3 demo and there is a few NASCAR models.

There is a few clips of people trying out the new rally course, Rome and Madrid but no one has made a video of the NASCAR gameplay. Its the only thing I have seen in the trailers that hasnt been played yet.

I'm still failing to see why it's so essential that we see absolutely everything.

There has been tonnes of GT gameplay footage over the last year. They keep showing off NASCAR in all their trailers so you would think that someone bothered to film it when they have the chance.

Well, there is the live streaming on the news page, and they are only showing the bumper cam of Jeff Gordans car at Indy.

If you were watching the live stream tonight I think you will probaly be sick of Nascar by now  ;)

Would be nice to see something other than NASCAR and Indy after tonight.
I think some people only played that combination because that was what was left on the screen. Only a handful of people - from what I saw - actually went back to the main menu; most saw the screen introducing the circuit and just selected "Start". If they were aware there was a choice in the matter, they may have selected something different.

It just show how much interest there is in NASCAR in GT5 (for E3 attendant anyway). People there prefer to drive road car and such.

I'm not so sure. Read my above post - a lot of people just sat down and played it without going through the menus first. They may not have known there was a choice to be had.

Not at all, early in the stream several attempted to select other circuits and cars, but the reps kept sort of redirecting them once they "noticed".

I just remember one guy who wanted to race Rome in the Camaro'10 got shot down and the blonde who went rallying with a Vspec R35 raced for 30 seconds.

I think the point of the stream was to promote the NASCAR feature. The reps seemed keen on it.
