Where to get silver chrome from?

Hi guys, Ive seen many people with this paint job and I thought it would look good on my sls

I've got one from a lucky paint chip when I got 30 cars (Or some mulitple of it) Usually you get some Matte Colour - got a Silver... Got another now, It looks - a bit like you wrap a car in Tin foil...

The only way to get it is

Luck when you get a multiple of 30 cars in your garage.
Get a friend to send you a chrome paint chip

I think you can get Gold chrome too.

As posted above, trading for it is the fastest and surest way to get it. Also, the Gold Chrome. The silver and gold chrome are the only two original chromes that came with the game and they are not part of any DLC.

Not counting normal chips that have chrome in the name like Chrome Orange Metallic, as they are not chrome chips like the silver and gold.

The only other way in-game is a random occurrence for every 30th car that you add to your garage, as Ryk stated above.

I think you can get Gold chrome too.

Just to add to this, if you sell or get rid of a car, it sets you back. You need to keep the total going up. For example if you get a paint chip at 100 cars and sell one (making it 99), you won't get another chip for getting back to 100, you have to wait until you get 130. If you have 100 cars in your garage and you sell all 100, you have to wait until 130 cars to get a chip.

In other words, if gift paints are what you're looking for, its not a good idea to get rid of cars as it sets your count back. I had 1029 cars and sold about 35-40 (as I was getting rid of triples and some doubles), now I have to wait a while to get another paint chip from getting cars.
