This is where I've stayed in the past in Europe and when I was watching the Monaco F1GP.


This is where I've been staying everytime I go to Europe, or some of my trips to France. :sly:

New apartment(almost year old) by my apartment doesn't show up either. I live in Beaverton, btw. I just did a google on Happy Valley. I didn't know it was so close!

Must be cool to live so close to another GTPer. Which city in Australia do you guys live? What's the weather like over there?
 
We live in Adelaide South Australia.

For the last 1-2 weeks its been raining, that map photo is a couple years old I think and must have been taken in the summer heat as everything looks dry. We didnt have a hot summer this year.

Ah. That's why I asked about the weather, it looked very dry. Does it get really hot? I imagine it gets at least as hot as California. In Oregon, it's usually just right, around high 80's to 90's(F) in the summer.



From left: 1)Tennis Court, where I pretend to play tennis. 2)Covered basketball court, where I play, if raining. 3)Outdoor basketball court at my apartment. I play there, almost every other day. :)

In a Very BAD summer temp can hover around 35-45 degrees C (100-115ish degrees F) for a month or two straight but thats pretty rare, but we usually have good weather all round.

Usually our normal summers will hover between 30-35 degrees C.

That's super hot! :scared: We reach 100 once in a while, but never for over a week or anything. If it makes you feel any better, it's cloudy and rainy most of the year. It gets really depressing around here. :guilty:

Jack yeah thats right I live in a shed thing, I have a great back yard, better than yours :D. It even has a cricket pitch.

I'll get your mum to get you to mow my lawn, you dont have a clue where I live do you? :D
 
Not at all, but I'll be looking for a boat out the front of a house in that map.

My house is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. The google map wouldn't even show my house so I had to find this pic from a similar thread a few years ago.
 
Cool! So VIPERGTSR01 is a groundskeeper at a park(needs basketball ct.) near Radicool02's house. Quick Nick lives in Saratoga(I've driven through it once!), TsLeng lives in a place that looks like a resort and Max Powers lives in......... Iraq or Afghanistan. :)

Yea, it's that close, my dad used to work over in Beaverton all the time and we would used to drive by the car dealerships. There were a ****load there compared to hear in Portland. I remember driving a golf cart around CARR Chevrolet's parking lot when I was around 7 or 8. I almost rammed, like, 5 new cars. lol Good times...

Your right it BADLY needs a basketball court.

Cricket!? I don't even know how long the cricket pitches are! :lol: It's cool you guys play basketball though. Did you know, in this years NBA Draft(this, tuesday), the player who's expected to be picked #1 is an Australian player? I'm sure my team wants him, but we have the third pick....

Nah...its just a really high condo near the beach.
