What's this supposed to do? It didn't work for me either.
It shows you the geographical location of a webserver, so you can see where the datacenter is. Don't expect to be impressed if you're trying to find your own IP address - this is intended for web servers. I just think it's interesting to see where your favorite sites are physically located.
 
Apparently this is where my internet comes from.



Right in the middle of a neighborhood on the other side of town.

Ya according to this my truck club website comes from Canada, and gtplanet comes from Troy?

It only finds the zip code, not the actual street address of the server's location.
