I really don't see why PD can't manage to have at least 6-8 each of active Time Trials and Drift Trials. There's over a dozen active "seasonal" races, that are really just rehashed A-spec events except for the expert race.

(And there should honestly be at least a couple dozen drift events. This facet of the game is very popular, yet gets how many events right now? Zero.)

Good question (or statement in your case). My guess would be the 54 people reading this thread at this very moment as I post, and the likely thousand or more who'll read it throughout the day if the current traffic level holds.

The time trials and drift trials are the closest thing we have to leaderboards at the moment, so yeah, I think there are quite a few people out there who care.

Drifting i don't care for, but a new TT i'd like.
I also wouldn't mind if they let TT 14 & 15 just where they are now (in the seasonals together with a TT16 etc.) closed or not.

In all reality though, with the time/drift trials and rankings, it really makes for a fun time between my friends and I. I can't tell you how much fun I had with one of my other friends one upping each other on the drift trials. He eventually got the upper hand, but really it was the most fun I have had in GT5 in a while.

It spices things up from the monotony of the other game modes that have become sort of stale. The added bonus of prizes and insane payouts just sweetens the deal.

I think a lot of people think on the same lines as me when it comes to this and ultimately is why people CARE so much about having new ones consistently.👍

I only wish they made a full track drift trial, not just 3 or 4 sections of the track... give us all the sections, even the crappy ones, that's where the challenge is and that's what will sepparate the men from the kids

If the past is anything to go by, the absence of new TT's and DT's could be signifying a game update, maybe, being the fact that the Japanese store just came back online and Kaz had said they want to release an update once the Japan store gets back online....

Technically, by the times PD originally posted, (tonite, within the hour in my zone), seasonals can be plus or minus a day, so new ones could still show up for this week. They've been early in recent weeks, so I wouldn't count them has absent quite yet just because the didn't show up yesterday.
