Which car are you looking forward to drive in GT5?

I think many of you are younger than 25 yrs old. Ok I also like Ferrari Enzo and Veyron but those are definitly not the cars I would like to drive. Here is a short list:

Lamborghini Diablo 5.7 or 6.0 (roadcar)
Mc Laren F1 LM
Toyota 2000 GT
Porsche 911 993 carrera 2 / GT2
BMW M3 E30 / E36
Marcos Mantis / LM500
etc.

McLaren F1 GTR, hopefully they have the short tail GTR too but either one I will enjoy driving (or racing with rather).
 
first of all - McLaren F1 :))) McLaren F1 LM will be a dream...
then Ferrari F50, 512TR, 458Italia, Ferrari F50 GT will be another dream...
Zonda R, Jaguar XJ220, Konigsegg CCX - all beautiful in short :)

It's interesting that GT bee famous for some "special" even "strange" cars!There will be a LOT of fun for me to drive them!!!
Especially Ford GT90

(im glad that so many people want to drive McLaren F1)

Nissan Bluebird '79, tried to race the (EDIT: It wasn't the 1000 miles I've raced it in the nurburg 4h enduro ) 1000 miles on it yesterday and I loved this car, never have driven it for long distances before. The one I've bought is red too. :D

One of the funniest things in the cockpit view are the old cars, their gauges and console designs, look at the Ferrari 512BB from prologue, or the Lancia delta, they're awesome.

-Jaguar E-Type Convertible & Coupe. (Beautiful vintage Jag).
-MG TF LE500/TF 135. (either version will do, I am very fond of this car).
-MG Metro 6R4. (Probably won't make it in, but I would love to have this rally legend in my collection).
-MG 6. (Hopefully this will make it in, I would love to give it a good thrashing).
-Lotus Exige. (Head-to-Head dual with a Ferrari 458 Italia).
-Suzuki Liana. (Dunsfold (TG track) here we come!)
-Chevrolet Lacetti. (Same as above).
-Vauxhall Corsa. (Funky little car, could be useful for the Clubman Cup).
-Vauxhall Astra 2010. (I'm interested to know how good the new Astra drives).

sry but that is my opinion because you can take the veyron vs a real sport car and you will lose on all race tracks with the veyron

Wrong. The Veyron will beat a LOT of real sports cars on any race track. Not all, sure, but it's not exactly a slouch, and neither is the Enzo.

If you can't see the appeal of taking the Veyron or Enzo around Trial Mountain, that's fine, just like I can't see the appeal of taking all those Mercs out for a spin. It's called choice, and the game lets you make lots of them.

I'm with you, probably the biggest thrill in GT is building a racer from scrappy old car.

First GT5 car... a 1995 Mazda MX5 of course, lowered, boosted, upsetting as many people as possible with twice the power.

I mean sport cars like pagani zonda f, i think the veyron will win 1 race ,on a oval circuit but on a race track the pagani will win ...you know what i want to say
the veyron is a top speed car and not a race car ( ~2t = Understeer ),sry i dont wanted to say the enzo ,the enzo is a race car sure ,i said it because i hate ferrari/schumacher XD

sry can you explain what you wanted to say with that :...taking all those Mercs out for a spin. my english is not very good :[
 
I'm really really looking forward to driving the Le Mans cars, like the Audi R10.. I still hate it that Porsche isn't in there with their Le Mans champions... :(

I think he means JUST the people that think exotics are the end all of games. Those people can't appreciate a simple Civic Si or something you know? They just horde money to buy what the image of fast/exotic is. These are the same people that usually can't even keep the thing on the road & quit the race after becoming dead last.

I thought the Veryon wasn't that amazing around a track? I mean sure it makes up for time in the straights, but didn't top gear have it behind a few non 1001 hp vehicles?

Im looking forward to tuning/hot laps more than anything. I don't really care what car as long as its fun to me. Hopefully they keep the classics in the game, the 67 fastback would be sick in this new engine.

i want an astra Coupe 2.2i just cause it's what i got, want to see how fast i can get it, can't really use the 4 litre rear wheel drive touring car as a comparison.
