I wanna drive my mom's Mitsubishi Montero Sport 2002 and see if I can tip it over like she did :lol:

There's a difference between cars under speculation and shouting out Ferrari Enzo for the hell of it.

I saw those pics and wondered if someone had remarked about them, again. Aren't thumbnails automatically generated if you upload the pictures? I couldn't find anything actually explaining them.
 
thumbs are only made if you upload the pic as part of your account as an attachment. you can post pics by linking to them directly on another sever and they will then show up in your post at their full size.

Yeah, I can hopefully hybrid to get an acurate impersonation of my brother's mate's Mini type R Turbo.

(Mini with engine removed and replaced with Integra Type R engine, plus High pressure turbo (increased waste gate) on the exhaust.

370hp 720kg.

But seriously, i really want to know what the Mini handles like in GT4. The Physics in GT3 were, well, not really good. Compared to RL the GT3 Stock Version understeered like mad ...

No match for the Mini Cooper S V8 a guy I sort of knew used to own. It had the rear seats remover, two racing seats in the front, a carbon dash and a full roll cage. It also had no engine under the bonnet, the engine was located where the rear seats should have been, the actual car wasn't really a Mini since it was an original body stuck on another cars modified chassis, but it had over 500Bhp easy.
 
Do you think PD could get this beast to appear in Gran Turismo 4, if YES, then I would look forward to driving it!

^ Maserati is directly connected with the Ferrari brand unlike the Fiat/Ferrari relationship... so no Masis unless PD gets that vaunted Ferrari license from EA!!
 
Well, no this is a true mini, because the integra 1800 fits under the bonnet surprisingly easily and it hasn't had any modfications.
 
That Mini must have cost the guy about 50k, the bodywork was original and in mint condition, but that was it.
 
You could get a good engine from a written off one cheap.

Integra R's aren't exactly common, well they were for sale for a few years here. In the first few years the Japanese front was available, but then they changed it to the American version with the 4 front lights, although the American version is the commoner. More than likely the engine was purchased straight from Japan though.

Although for Honda engined minis, check out the Ring Mini estate. Has a turboed 1600cc Civic engine. And it's an estate. 👍
 
I don't even need to click on the link to know it's the Qvick Mini S3, which races in the BelCar series and uses a BMW M3's inline 6 at over 330Bhp driving the rear wheels.

One of the coolest Minis i´ve ever seen, was a Replica of Paddy Hopkirks 1964 Monte Carlo Cooper S, that won this years most famous Rally. The guys of the garage i used to bring my Mini to had the job, financed by some pretty rich Mini fan to rebuilt exactly this Cooper. Boy did that car look great. They even went so far as to find one of the old electricans from ´64 who built exactly the same cable loops that were in the original car. This Rebuilt cost around 100 grands ...

Quite correct, the M5 concept and recently anounced road car is a V10.

The next generation M3 will most likely use a V8 derived from the V10 (which is modular design), this info comes from this weeks Autocar magazine based on info provided by BMW.
 
Rumour BMW engine line-up:

M2 - updated i6 from current M3
M3+4 - v8 derived from new v10
M5+6 - v10
