Which Car Are You Looking Forward to Driving the Most?

In alphabetical order here's the cars (after a quick browse) from the list that I am looking forward too:

The Cobra? Surely quite similar to the shelby one, though hopefully it will have more control and not need to pit every 2 laps.

The TT-R was in concept, as was the RS6 Avant.

It'd be interesting to drive a bentley as i haven't got a clue how fast they are. Huge 6.75 V8 engine, but about as heavy as a truck too.

As for the caterham and the Jag, definitely. The Stingray would be cool too.
But the Lister Storm? That was in Gt3, why are you so excited? I'd prefer the Venturi Atlantique 600LM or the Vector M12 LM for a change.

As for the Mercs, I'm not really fussed, and the Zonda was in Gt3, though i would like it to return. Let's hope it brakes better this time around.

The CTR2 i'm not bothered but the Karmann Ghia, yes please. The noise!!!
 
Polyphony001 I'm excited about driving the Lister because of the noise of that V12. I love it. The cars in my list are cars that I have driven in previous GT games (and love) and cars that I have never tried before.

I love Audi's so anything Audi is good in my book.

I watched the official E3 GT4 Trailer with the Merc and Audi Abt TT-R going round the Nurburgring Nordschleife and I was mightily impressed. Very much looking forward to that.

As for the CTR2: I loved that car in GT3.

I have a tendency to high powered RWD cars and powerful 4WD cars ... Can you tell? :) Oh and the odd classic too.

The Falken Skyline they used at this year's Nurburgring race.

And if it makes it in, the GTR Concept.
 
I'm looking forward to running some of the older iron the most. I hope they do them justice in regards to performance and proper sound.

As for modern cars? I'd love to be able to drive my own car (who wouldn't want to see their own vehicle in a game?) but all indications seem to insinuate the 03 Cobra will be left out. :guilty:
 
The new Pontiac GTO will keep me busy for quite some time. 👍
 
I like most of the cars that RacyBacy does too, but I am also interested in road cars i see regularly be tuned up and racing with big boys, i like to see things like Turbocharged Meganes fighting it out with Atlantique 300s and stuff. But not knowing what the Storm V12 sounds like in real life, i can't compare it to what it sounds like in Gt3.

I still haven't answered this topic.... umm... the R5 turbo at the ring..
 
During replays (in GT3), some of the cars do sound a bit weird.
But I thought the driving sound for every car was pretty good.
The sound from the C5-R was dead-on...with that typical Chevy pushrod
cam-whine. Even the '93 Cavalier I drive makes that noise in real life.
Spend some time at a real race track or drag strip and you'll realize that
the engine sound in GT has always been pretty good.

Can't wait to fire up that 427 again, and show the AI why the C5-R is the best
real-life GTS racer on this planet.
 
They arn't throaty enough imo and I've been to the tracks, but they arn't poor sounds in GT3.

I'm looking forward to driving a 3000GT VR-4 with proper statistics like correct horsepower numbers and proper badging. The 3000GT VR-4 in GT3 didn't have the twin turbo badge, nor the VR-4 badge.

I'm also looking forward to taking the 3000GT online. I wouldn't mind mowing down a couple of Supras with my 3000GT. :)

Looking forward to driving that beast known as the 2004 Dodge SRT-10 Viper.
 
I don't think a GTO would mow down the lighter more track suited Supra's unless it had a nice power advantage.

Viper Zero is probably talking about in game GTO\3000GT. If thats the case, just like in the past Gran Turismo games, the GTO\3000GT is capable of mowing down some supras. 👍 :sly:

The GTR concept was in GTConcept so I would say its in GT4.
 
Viper i am with ya on that... esp given PD's and Nissan's relationship... however, i'm still taking the "it's not 100% in until i see a screen cap" approach.
 
Looking forward to drive the BMW 120d (DIESEL!) some old touring cars and The Saleen S7
 
i saw the S7 street but didn´t find the Raceversion!!! hope will be included!!!it´s one of the fastest GT-Racecars of this times(in qualifications it´s even better then a 550 GT!!!)
 
I would think the S7-R will make it into GT4.
 
Damn right it should. the more super cars, the better. Plus i heard that thing is huge and has great performance.
 
Well for me it would have to be any TVR in the game.

I love all Saleens including the S7-r. I sure hope that they will be included on the game. Im also looking forward to driving the Cobra because of its pure power and other muscle cars namely the GTO. i cant wait to hear what those cars sound like.

If Saleen was smart he would make PD put some Saleen Mustangs in the game.
