Spyder, it has marginally better poise but a big advantage on power.

Since when? The (1957) Spyder has like 137bhp compared to the Boxter's 258bhp. Boxter is one of the finest handling cars ever. Boxter would win easy.

The 550 RS Spyder may only have ~135hp, but it only weighs 1300 lbs, which gives it a better power/weight ratio than a 255hp, 2855 lb Boxster S.

It's still slower overall though. I do really like them though :) It's amazing it's so light really.

I suppose *someone* should answer the last question.

Continental GT, as the Vanquish is obese.

Ford Model T vs. Mercedes A Class Diesel

Well, if it was a endrurance, the Merc, better fuel efficiency !

1972 Porsche 914-6 VS. 1976 Alpha Romeo Spyder Veloce

Porsche 914, because I believe it's faster. I could be wrong though.

Ferrari F40 vs. Ferrari F50 vs. Ferrari Enzo

Venue- Suzuka

Not even a contest, the Enzo would smoke them....faster, lighter, better aerodynamics, batter brakes, stonger drivetrain....the list goes on !!!!

1991 Mazda 626 LX 5 Door VS: 1991 Acura Integra 2 door

Venue : Triathalon,

1/4 drag
5 laps of Apricot hill
Pikes peak Hill Climb

Acura, it's lighter, faster and more aerodynamic. If only there was a shopping challenge...

Massey Ferguson vs. John Deere

Venue: Silverstone

^ bastige....shopping challenge ! I kill my buddy in his 'tegra all day long... and he is no slouch driver..

BTW

John Deere " Cause nothing runs like a deere"

Porsche 911 gt3 vs porsche 911 turbo, pikes peak hill clmib

911 GT3, because the Turbo loses some agility with the extra power.

355 Challenge vs. 360 Challenge Stradale

Venue: Road America

^ I know this is opinion, but your wrong, they were tested and the 911 turbo killed, not only because of the 4 wheel drive, but more horse power more torque, and the naturaly asparated engine that the gt3 had lost power once it was higher up the hill due to thinner air....where as ther turbo climbed like a possesed monkey

360 Stradale I think would win due to its agility and less drag coeficient

post a matchup, TTJ.

R32

Isdera Commendatore 112i vs. Holden Monaro

Ice Racing

As one of GTPlanet's resident autocross geeks, I strongly disagree an R32 would beat an S in a autocross course.

The St00k is an autocross beast. The R32 would be left gasping in its wake, and bowing down amist a field of marbled Hoosiers, cowering in dog-like submission.

But backing up your opinion is entirely optional. Otherwise this game would go nowhere.

^ I am not sure about that...I know the s2k is an amazing machine, but with with same hp, more torque and 4 wheel drive, I think the r32 would give the 2k a good run for its money....being autocross, you'd probably be out of the s2k's peak hp and torque as well...

R32 curb weight: ~3256
S2000 curb weight: ~2780

500 lbs. is a BIG deal when you're talking about Solo II. I admit I've never driven an R32, but I highly doubt it can approach the S2000's transitional and short-turn rate performance.

It does take skill and familiarity with the car to keep the cams on hot, but its not as hard as people make it out to be. The St00k's gears are very short, which helps. In fact, if you do the math, the S puts almost as much torque per pound to the rear wheels in 1st and 2nd gear as an E36 M3 or Mustang GT.

AWD on an autocross course is of dubious advantage. I mean S2000s don't give up any ground to Evo's and STi's in Solo II and those cars eat R32s for lunch.

I think the trans am would win. And for me here's my pick.

Scion TC with Supercharger V.s. 2004 Toyota Solara( What ever has the highest performance of the Solaras.)

Since the last respondant didn't supply the next challenge, I'll pick it up.

'73 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona vs. '04 Vishnu Performance Mitsubishi Evolution

Consider the Evo a futuristic ray gun. You just can't beat the pure italian sledgehammer.

Ford Fusion vs. Citroen C3 XTR vs. VW Polo Dune
