Which cars disappointed you most?

Mate i am a cappuccino owner. I know what mods i need to do to get what power. i would say zero to 100km/h is about 8.5 - 9sec (SSS Pulsar do it in about 9secs) And the cappuccino is on par. Car runs stand 10psi and on the stock ecu run about to 16.2psi before fuel cut. One guy in qld with and adpatronic got 74rwkw with just the ecu and 16psi (no exhaust or filter) With just a pod and muffler i got 48.5rwkw. With more boost 70 - 80 rwkw is more then possible.

Stock for stock of course and S15 will be quicker. A modify cappuccino will have no problems keeping up with a slightly tuned s15. say a cap has 100 - 130rwkw weights 700kg (average power people go for is about 100rwkw) Your slightly modified s15 has about 160 - 170rwkw and weights 1200kg. Power to weight wouldnt be much different between the to?

The main think that dissappointed me in GT5P isnt the out right power cause i know for a fact the cappuccino is no power house and will never be. Is more the fact how dull the acceraltion is and how un life like it is.

EDIT:At the end of the day im just frustrated how games dont depic the car correctly. When i unlock the tuning side of things i will have to play with the gear ratios to make it more responsive like in reality and the car sound could be better but thats a completely different issue.

AEROHDT: If i ever drive down to melbourne in the cappa I will be more then happy to meet up and take you for a spin. I believe everyone should experience a Kei Class car at least once in there life.

interior on the AZ1 is so small that the headunit is sideways :P good thing about the cappa there is as much room as a mx5/s2k

The Spec R will dash to 100km/h in sub 7's (6.5secs?), so you're suggesting that a car with a much higher pwr/wght ratio is only 1.5 seconds slower?

It think about 5.5 for 0-100km/h. 1270KG and 250pk.

I'd have to say the two cars I'm most disappointed with from initial drives would have to be the '08 Lancer X and the '06 Skyline Sedan 350GT.

Initially I was very impressed with the Lancer X because it seems to have a very high cornering limit. It seems to change direction quickly even at high speeds. However, I soon realized it doesn't really accelerate around corners like the Lancer IX. This means you have to enter a corner with very high speed and maintain that high speed thoughout the corner, which is kinda tricky. In the Lancer IX, I can enter the corners carrying a lot of speed and gently accelerate and increase the speed during full cornering. For some reason the X can't do this its speed remains constant until you unwind the streering. This makes it kinda hard to exit the last corner at HSR with max speed.

The Skyline Sedan is not that bad considering its a sedan but its gearing is kinda messed up. Does it only have four gears because it seems that you lose quite a bit of power when shifting from 3rd to 4th. I think the Skyline Sedan from GT4 had 6-8 gears (can't quite remember) and seem to always be in its powerband.

The Mustang. It just kind of lumbers along.

Also, I'm not a big fan of most of the Ferraris in the game. I think they're overrated.
Although I bought the 1976 one last night, and that one's actually fun. I got it in that very 70's-looking gold, and it looks great.

The M3 is a huge disappointment. The sound is incredibly boring and it just feels completely wrong. I can't compare any of the others (besides the '01 Golf GTI of course) to real life, but the question here was not how close they were to reality but how wise it is to spend your game money on them. So in that angle, the M3 is not all bad. I think it handles fairly good and it's good sideways.

The F40 is mandatory as there is a race in S-class which requires it, if it wasn't for that I would not recommend it unless you love the car in general. I bought it straight away and I still get goosebumps when it crosses 7000rpm and bounces off the rev limiter. Turn the volume up even more and I'll probably get an erection. It is simply the best sounding car in the game! Eargasm time after time.

Also, don't buy the concept GT LM until you have plenty of money and just want a kick. At limited PP, the S2000 and the 111R tuned are probably better. But when you drive arcade (single race), like I mostly do, you can push all the dials to the max, including you stereo, and just enjoy the monstrosity :)

Yeah 599 is fun, i have to recall M3 as most dissapointing as i now found a brilliant setup in the setup forum for the M3 and its a brilliant car now!

Dissapointing car i found Alfa Romeo Brera... its slow but that slow :|

These things are slow as hell in real life too, big let down in game and real life
