Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (whith included flying superpowers)

The fictional car I would absolutely love to see is the original Mach 5. I'd also like to see the Durango 95 and the Ferrari Testarossa Spider, both of them exist in real life (though the Ferrari is not an official model) so it might not be so crazy to include them in a future Gran Turismo.

Mach 5 from Speed Racer:

Steve McQueens Porsche 917.
And the Bandits Trans Am, it would also be fun to go Midget smashing with his tractor trailer.
I'd also like to see Herbie. :D
That way I don't have to bother with grinding.

Great thread!

I gotta give props to just about all the suggestions, especially "Kitt", the original "Batmobile", the "Ecto-1", the Gran Turino from "Starsky & Hutch, the futuristic "I, Robot" Audi, and the Ferrari from "Ferris Beuller's Day Off".

Here's a couple more I didn't see mentioned...

1. What about the car from the classic "Spy Hunter" video game?
(Your pit-stops could be in the back of that truck...)

2. Back to "Ferris Beuller", how about the Plymouth Ed Rooney drove, or even that Pontiac Fiero his sister had?
('I asked for a car and I got a computer. How's that for being born under a bad sign...')

Dodge M4S from 'The Wraith' would be cool.

The Turbo Interceptor driven by Charlie Sheen in the movie The Wraith was the Dodge M4S concept car, which cost an estimated $1,500,000.
The Dodge M4S was powered by a Mopar 2.2 Inline "Trans" four cylinder engine (also used in the Dodge Daytona, Dodge Aries, etc.), with a Cosworth 16-valve, twin-cam cylinder head that produced over 400 horsepower thanks to twin Garrett T25 turbochargers.
The abbreviation M4S stood for Midengine, 4 cylinder, Sport. The original car was built by Dodge and PPG industries to be used as a Pace Car for sprint racing venues.
6 prop cars were built, 4 of which were dummies and destroyed during filming. The other two were the stunt cars. One is currently being restored at http://www.thewraithcar.com.

Although many suggestions would transform gt5 in metal twisted, desruction derby, shift 2 stuff, I agree for the Steve Mcqueen's Le mans cars. But this is the best ones:
This.

-It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
Can you imagine a endurance race with the Bluesmobile? Btw, what car Twiggy is driving in this movie, is a ferrari or a jaguar? and How about the jack's bride ride? Two great cars....
cheers...

Have not seen the movie (because I suspected that it would be truly awful) nor a particular fan of the original puppet series (although I like that much better) but I would like to see this Ford based Fab 1 concept appear as I think it would look great in another colour and it has 6 wheels (which is 2 more than any other car in GT5 which in itself seems a perfectly good and logical reason to include it).
