This is really a resaponce to a number of the inevitable "GT5 is ruined because it dosn't have X, Y or Z cars included" What I would like is for people to take a step back and realise GT5 has never been about "super cars" Yes thats part of it but....a big part for many people is to take THERE car out on a world famous track or to have an infinate amount of cash and to tune there car or there favourite cars.

Yes taking a race spec Supra or a zonda or even the ferrari F1 car out on track has it's place in the GT series but also a big part is getting that MK1 golf you used to own or allways wanted and getting it out on track.

To that end please take a moment to go through the official car list and make a list of the cars you've owned or at least driven for more than a month....or even a list of the cars you've "had a go of"

I've gone through the list myself and using the rule of owned or driven for at least a month I was was shocked at how many cars were included in GT5....no there's no ferraris or RUF's on my list though I have driven them on track as well as an AC superblower but thats not my point. What I'm partly looking foreward too in GT5 is the chance to take cars I know out on track and see how they stack up to what I remember from owning them and how they compare to each other....something that I could never do in real life!

Some of these are NOT the adsact model or spec but are very close to it. Some however are the adsact models.

Would love to see others car history through the "eyes of GT5" and keep the "but it dosn't have this car" to threads that are discussing that, GT5 is more than a simulator that simply has super cars in it, it has everyday cars that most of us drive in it also which makes it an overal better game.

I've not owned any car in the GT series as I've only owned mid-spec European models (3 so far), which get ignored for endless variants of JDM cars.

Cheers GT Sceptic for ignoreing my
"and keep the "but it dosn't have this car" to threads that are discussing that"
In the very first reply......

Morphisor Nice car matey, I've owned prety much every Cellica model (5 or 7) that has come out, loverly car, that and the BMW's tend to have me coming back for more.

gtone339 Missed the point there but yeah all those cars are on most peoples GT5 "to do " list. The vid of the Zonda in the wet probubley has that car standing out in your list for me.

Well it'll be a pretty JDM-centric thread for a lot of people, as I'm not sure we'll find too may European's whose exact car has been in GT1-5.

I am currently driving an '06 Toyota Yaris Luna. It is my first car and the car I passed my driving test in. I would love to see a screenshot of the Premium '07 RS 1.5 Vitz included in the game. I just found out about it on the list today! If someone can find a link, I will post a real life vs. GT5 photo comparison to share with you guys.

I like this thread. The glass is certainly half full here!

Seat Ibiza Cupra is in :D

Owned, driven and tuned mine for 3 years, and am so glad it's made GT5 :D:D

My current car, an 02 Mazda Protege, is the only car that is in GT that I've owned. 50% of my cars have been in GT, not bad, lol.

@ Hereward
How DID you get to own that many cars anyhow?
Get a new one every 2 years or so?

My Celica is in fact my 1st car (being only 22), but I have a side-job of driving lease-cars around, so I know well the ups and downs of many brands :)

I'd like to see if GT5 feels like the real deal, as gt4 had way too much understeer and launch wheelspin to compare it effectively.

I'm from the UK (europe) and was in my early 20's when I fell in love with GT1 (yeah I'm old LOL, as for cars, 1 a year is my usual LOL I'm an adict, first car ever owned was a MK II celica, last car was a VVTI celica (last model made) and current car is the BMW 330 M sport

And yes the Glass is very definatly half full in this thead, I'm ignoreing posts that are off topic and negative for the the next 11 days, I hope people in this thread will do the same. Nice to see people looking foreward as I am to driving there car, or a close representertive in GT5 as well as all the dream cars that are on offer which just sweeten the deal for me.

R34EVO9 is that ALL? Ahhh but every one a jem matey! Love the 240's "capri" handeling back end and the EVO is a personal favourite of mine, the civic in it's day was also one of my favourites.

As for Skip.....Thought you were a fellow biker from your sig, ditch the bus and get a cheap bike.

Scooby....enough said, every sane person should own at least one in there lifetime and the S2000 should have a health warning on the engine....."may cause eardrum perforation above 9,000 rpm" LOL

RAVELLRON Nice....very nice, did anyone notice the Z3 coupe? driven one and nearly managed to buy one, sorry drooling and going of topic, bmw 3.5 liter in a 1 series is to blame LOL

As for the robin....the youtube vid of the old Fiat 500 in GT5 rolling over should componsate in game LOL/sarcasim of course.....been in one on 2 wheels....never again LOL

Nothing. Closest is the 1988 Honda Accord Coupe, I had a 1983 Honda Accord and a 1992 Honda Accord, so that's kind of in between! I also had a 1985 Toyota Corolla, but it was AE82 not AE86

My brother has the CLK55 AMG, I can't wait to try it out with the new physics engine. Also can't wait to hear that V8 in game compared to real life

Well this game has become very special to me.
I owned a 1971 Mustang 429 Corba Jet. So to
see the 71 Mach 1 now in the game is just fantastic
for me. Now if it turns out to actually be the 429 engine
in the Mustang will make it the icing on the cake.
