Which Colour PS3 Is The Best ?

Aparently i read that the PS3 will be aluminium and will come in maybe blue also, and to be honest this is very likelythe case, as most dvd players are metal of some kind. so to answer the question posed, I would like a black ps3

i love black and white, the white looks so innocent but its so powerful, Black looks very sleek tho. Ill likely get black because dirt shows up on white easier. The silver looks good to tho

Where do you plan to use your PS3 ? And you need to take better care of your systems if dirt gets on it, lol.

Best color? Hot Pink. No, just joking... Personally, I like black for the PS3. Looks pretty cool in black, just like my PS2. Actually, I am kind of torn between black and silver. If I had to choose, I'd go for the black one.

I honestly don't know yet. Right now I'm leaning towards silver.. by the time I get my full entertainment center built, most of the components will be silver, so it would blend in.

just found out that the plans are for ultra gloss aluminium cases so expext it to show finger prints easy. ive seen video footage to back this up too and all the people around it could be seen in the reflection just like a mirror.

the white one tends to look like a refrigerator from that angle, so i like the glossy-black look

edit: the xbox 360 also has skins, so it wont be completely white.. its also dimensionally smaller than the PS3..

If you all had skills (and didn't really care about voiding your PlayStation 3 Warranty), you'd paint the machine Candy Red, Plum Crazy, Reflex Spice, and all that. I still think black and silver are great colors.

If you have the same wallpaper, you're going to lose your PS3 for sure. Maybe the can put in some kind of whistle, so you can call for your PS3, if you lost it.

I'd get the black or the gunmetal. i'll have to see them in person. I like the black because it's a nice offset to every other piece of electronic equipment in my room that's silver/gunmetal. i have a gunmetal tv, speaker-system, and a silver piano, camera, and cell phone. my laptop is silver on the inside and black on the outside, and my sennheiser hd457's are silver too. If my dream ever comes true and i get Hd650's those will be gunmetal, but i feel the room needs a balance of all the different shades of greyscale. anything too monotone gets boring. I think i like the black the best because of that killer aluminum accent and the way it just stands out. The blue color also looks amazing, but blue just wouldn't fit in my room. if it was possible, i'd buy extra face plates so i can do my own art on them. pinstriping and airbrushing, etc. then we could have a post your custom plates topic! lol.
