Today I discovered, the sharp right turn on Seattle can be a very frustrating test. I mean, as I said before, I decided to pass all of GT3 again from scratch. Today I went for all the golds on the A license. I normally would try from 3 to 7 times until getting it, even that really hard laguna seca turn, I did it at the sixth time. THen I had to make that tight turn. It almost seems impossible, like there is no way to make it. I remember exactly my progress:

14:341
14:290
14:250
14:240
14:231
14:220
14:208
14:205
14:190

Not counting all the other tries.

Seattle in a camaro is tough, I managed to tie the time for Gold

Im not a rally driver so all those rally tests are hard to me

S2 took me the longest as I remember from my previous game. That GT40 SUCKS!! When I passed it, I seem to remember it as a crazily drifting run that had me just missing (and I'm sure occasionally grazing) corners or walls all too often.

S8 was a bear until I really concentrated on throttle control and managed to bring that beast under control. I was mired with random mistakes on one or two turns each run that kept me from pulling the whole track together and passing. Eventually, it all came together and I got past it.

Stick with it and you'll get through.

yea i f'n agree with u guys seattle 2 in gt40 sucks, it took me 3hours NON-STOP, and my thumbs felt wierd for a week!

that medal kind of looks like a peach.

I have never gotten gold on any of the tests, and i leave it that way.

The GT-40 at Seattle gave me problems until I practiced the first shicane and the turns at the bleachers.

The toughest for me was the GT-1 at Cote'd Azur. (The final test) That car has way too much low end torque to keep it on the road.

I just finished doing about 50 attempts on that Seattle Curcuit run in A license with the Camaro and had to quit before I smashed something. The best I could manage was 14.245 after which I kept finding myself on the rear bumper of my ghost every time I went over the finish. I want to get gold the honest way and play the game but after reading your posts concerning the GT40 run through Seattle 2 on which I barely got bronze I think I am going to go get a gameshark.

That test can be easy, just put on Manual transmission, and dont go lower then 3rd gear, even if your speed drops to 25 mph. Youll have 0 wheel spin

As for me the toughest test is The last rally test. It is my only bronze. Im sure I can get a gold but I dont want to spend 2 hours trying to get all those sliding turns right

Im having trouble with the second test for the S liscence. Ive tryed like 20 or 30 times to pass it but I can never get it or even close to the goal. Im 5 seconds off is my best for it.

Welcome to GTP schizobion

For the love of god , dont use a gameshark. To tell u the truth I got a gold in the Seatttle-Camaro turn after I finished all of GT3. I went back to finish all golds, and when I knew I could do it, I began from scratch, this times getting golds to do everything perfect from the beginning. U just need practice, and a tip. Dont make the turn on the middle of the corner, make it on the left side of the turn, try to make contact with that little barrier at the end of the curve and try to enter the curve from the inside.

I have to say that the licence tests in GT3 are a bit of a bugbear for me. I can get Bronzes easily and Silvers if I try but Golds I seem to aquire almost by accident (as in one of my attempts for a Silver time turns out much better than I anticipated)! You guys who can get all golds have my utmost respect, I don't know how you do it!

The Special Licence tests were a surprise 'tho in that they were a lot easier than I was expecting. The only one I had to do more than twice was, you've guessed it, the GT40!

seems mainly people get stuck on s2 and s8 for me s2 wasnt bad ( i was going for all bronze ) but s8 was terrible....even worse the last time trial 5 minutes of crazy track with a car that has no brakes........
i was using a controller...not wheel

The RUF RGT around Complex String (with TCS & ASM on) was the hardest so-far for me.

All i have left now to get gold in is the Special Licence!

Well, as you may have seen, licence B-8 was a bit of a pain to get gold in for me. I would always be hitting or scraping walls. I finally managed it, and I won't be doing it again :p

The frustration level hits high on these license tests. I had never played GT before two weeks ago so I was not used to the license test idea before racing. Still haven't got the 'S' or final rally license but was thoroughly ecstatic to nail the others.

I have a couple of early golds but all bronzes in the later ones and I was GLAD to get those. So far, the worst for me was #2 on IA in Seattle.
