None of them. With 16 points between Heikki and the nearest on that list (Trulli) with 7 rounds to go, they'd have to start scoring regular podiums, and that isn't going to happen. Based on the performances of the last few races, I expect Kovalainen to overhaul at least one, if not both the BMW drivers by the end of the season.

Webber? lol, his luck wont let him.

None of those driver's cars are anywhere near the McLaren this year, so Kovalainen better have some really bad luck and some bad driving to allow any of them to overtake him in points.
If you've noticed, hes been overtaken by most of these drivers in races, but not always the same drivers, they are battling each other for points and that McLaren is usually at the top end of it.

The only likely person is either Alonso or Trulli, as they are the only drivers consistently scoring the bigger points or at least qualifying well enough.

None of them can. He's always been ahead of them all. His only competition right now is Nick Heidfeld.

The real question should be who could challenge Kovalainen on the course, rather than take a couple of championship spots from him. I would vote for Alonso or Glock for that.

I'd say Timo Glock because hes' new comer to formula from DTM.
One worth if mentioning from DTM was Louis Hamilton.

on the otherhand Mika Häkkinen ruled @ formulas and then @ DTM :D

None of them, mainly because McLaren are still developing their car at a fast rate, it woudl take conditions like today at Monza for the midfield to be on par with McLaren/Ferrari.

Probably because of the second place that he didn't deserve. Or just because he drives a Renault.
