Which New Cars Would You Like to See Added to GT5?

the Atom but mostly the Porsche 944turbo as thats my real car...be interesting to see how the game feels compared to real thing(with g27)

I would like to see some indycars because 1. they are sweet (my favorite race cars) and 2. how weird is the Indy 500 endurance event with out indycars or open wheel cars for that matter. I also want some Rolex Sports Cars (daytona prototypes). And I would like some Porsches, which I know are under RUF but I really don't see why they can't just call them Porsches, wish they would. But put some Porsches in the new car dealer and give us the Caymen S and the Porsche GT3 racecar. Also how about the Porsche 911 gt1 and the Mercedes Benz CLR-GT1 because some cars prone to take off like that would be fun, lol. Also how about some historic nascars to appear in the used car dealer, like old Petty and Earnhardt or even Kulwicki's '92 underbird. F1 cars and historic F1 cars like the P34 and John Player Special.

Oh ya, and that new Ferrari 4-door thing is ugly as ****!

Edit: wouldn't expect it but wouldn't mind seeing the old 4000s and 5000s in there, too but I'm not greedy. I know they only put old small cult following Japanese cars in this game, us Euro car lovers get the shaft and that's fine (damn Japanese bias ;) ), GT has always been that way The S1 and Sport Quattro though, I mean come on, there's no way these 2 shouldn't be in this game.

Yes!!!!! I totally agree with the bias! There are over 100 Nissans and over numbers just below that for Toyota and Mazda I believe. It's rediculous that the vast, vast majority of cars in the game are Japenese, escpecially when Japanese cars are the laughing stock of cars. I could go on all day about the stupid bias in the game.

And noble, morgan, more of the new AMG (CLS 65AMG!)/M POWER (OLD M3 AND 5'S)/ RS LINE (RS5) cars i could go on for ages and ages! Oh and the new ferrai ff is disgusting! Looks like a tarted up bmw m coupe!

One last one for now is Gembella...if we cant have porsche then can we have gembella? i want the mirage GT! My dream car

I would die for this to be added into GT5 ! the new Honda HSV - Weider Racing Team..i feel they have the most good looking livery. They were also the champion for the 2010 superGT.

Short of the caveat of posting two pictures, this is the same premise as this existing thread and as such, merged.
 
More more Mercedes!!! CL65, CLK DTM, CLS63, E63, C63 Estate, S63, SLR Stirling Moss & 722S also would be nice if they added Aston Martin V12 Vantage and Bugatti Veryron SS PREMIUM!!!

Could someone explain how to properly post a picture? Every time I try it keeps going wrong :mad:
 
I would be happy if PD would just make an Remake-Update.

Right, you need to register with somewhere like photobucket, flickr etc. Then when youve uploaded a pic to there you copy the URL of the pic (it needs to end in.jpg)
With photobucket you have the option of copying the link surrounded by image tags. These are the square brackets. [ and ] with the word img inside-thats your image tag. So you put [ img] (url ending in .jpg) [/ img]
I had to put spaces in before the word img or it would think i was trying to post a pic- normally you have no spaces at all.

Oh I might have been too vague. I have my own gallery up (see my sig) so know how to post pictures. What I meant was - when I search Google images and then find one I like (a picture of a nice BMW M1, for example), how to I post it directly here? I can only get the link up (that you have to click). Either that or it just has that wee funny "no picture" icon...

Oh right, so same principle! Right click on the pic, Properties, copy URL, paste into message surrounded by img tags. Example: http://1.2.3.9/bmi/cache.gtpla.net/forum/images/avatars/custom/avatar150363_2.gif[/[img]

Tho be warned hotlinking from some sites can get you into bother!

Yeah, Porsche has to be the most glaring omission of a maker in the history of GT. That really needs to be rectified.

I was watching a demo for the new Driver game and apparently that game also uses RUF instead of Porsche... so I would say that it's not Sony's fault at all... Porsche would seem to have a problem with video games.... but then you have to realize that the company liscenced it's name to make the Porsche driving wheel.... so I dunno but something seems strange

The ferrari pack would be cool, and yeah an Atom V8 would probably easily become my new favorite car in the game. Just imagine tuning that thing to have like 650 hp!! it would basically be a FGT jr.

Porsche is not the problem. They don't have a problem with video games at all. The problem is that EA owns an exclusive license to Porsche for video games/software. Polyphony has not paid them to obtain a sub-license to include Porsche in Gran Turismo, which in my opinion is an absolute travesty! PD would rather include 40 different versions of Nissan Skylines and hundreds of low powered Asian cars so they can make the claim to fame of over 1000 cars, than pay up for Porsche. It makes absolutely no sense at all to me. Turn 10 had no problem paying EA for a sub-license for Forza Motorsport which is why actual Porsche's are available in Forza Motorsport (1, 2 & 3).

I'm pretty much done with GT5 and all that's left for me is collecting cars and driving them (in practice mode or repeating some of the a-spec races). However, I currently own over 90% of the European and American cars in the game. I've also purchased maybe 15% of the Asian cars (premiums and some from the UCD) and that's more than enough for me. I was planning on buying every car in the game but see no sense in owning 40 Skylines and hundreds of other cars I'll never even want to take to the practice track. I'd rather spend my time and credits on buying extras of some of the Euro and American cars and tune each of them differently for various tracks to get to the 1000 car (car collector) trophy.

PD released a so called driving simulator without including one of the most respected names in motorsports. RUF's do not equal Porsche's. They are different and don't drive or handle the same. No one can argue Porsche's reputation in racing! To not include them was a huge mistake...
(end rant) :)

edit: I read an article somewhere a few months ago about how Porsche would have liked to be included in GT5, but it wasn't their decision to make. It discussed the exclusive video game license agreement with EA and how PD and EA had to work out an agreement in order for GT5 to have Porsche's. If I can find the article online I will post a link to it.
