Which real life tracks do you want to see in GT5?

There is a "realitively" popular track just outside of my hometown (Grand Rapids, MI) called Grattan Raceway Park in Grattan, MI. Ive raced on it before on my biycle (they hold special bicycle track days during the spring and summer... Think Tour De France but on a closed course, and only 40mi in about 2.5 hours)

Anyway, the track is one of the cornerstones for the national SCCA racing leagues, and is often used by GM and Ford to test vehciles.

Recently however, Car and Driver has been doing it's car comparison tests at Grattan (weather permitting, as it does snow four months out of the year here) and have come to make it their main test track instead of the old favorites in Ohio and Georgia.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for Grattan!

i'de like to see bathursrt as well as the old hockenheim track, not the one in this years's f1 but the old one with the long striaghts combined with tight chicanes. I'd also want a track with a straight longer than that on test course or la sarthe 2 and without bumps and stuff so we can get a cars true top speed without runing out of road.. I also think an endurance race on test course wouldn't be as boring as it might sound.

i would like to see...hhmmm actually i am queit happy, but like the HOCKENHEIMRING, or LAUSITZRING or Oschersleben (hope wrote it correct)

and i would love to race the NURBURGRING F1, connected with the amazing NORDSCHLEIFE Circuit.

the Endurance race like in real, 32km for one lap...would just be amazing....

and i would like to see more NIGHT tracks.

thats it

You know, these threads are stupid. The obvious answer is always going to be "every one ever made". Duh!

to me, of all the tracks that were mentionned... i think SPA is the one i'd like the most. Its well renouned and it is a very good and technical track to master. Lots of highspeed corners going into low speed ones... its very challenging, especially in long races.

I'd love to see the heart land race track in the game, as it's my 'local' track, and it would be cool to get some more practice, lol.

Zolder; my local track and the nürnburgring with the nürburgring GP F1 track

More circuits, less road courses (unless they are none city based. Hate Hong Kong, New York and dislike but can live with Seattle and Rome).

Also if you were to include bathurst then don't limit races to just Ford and Holden. Let Nissan in there (the Skyline was the whole reason they changed it to Ford and Holden because they got ABSOLUTELY smashed by the Skylines so much they banned them). But honestly, the original Bathurst was more entertaining when they BMW's, Seirra's, Jaguars etc.

Hockenhiem, the original course before the safety mods. Brands Hatch and Dulton Park, loved them in Toca, would be fun I reckon. Maybe test tracks from manufacturers, Porsche is meant to have a pretty demanding yet satisfying course.

Silverstone is pretty fun, but on Forza it's Foggy and hard to see the turns.

I would like to see the Salt Flats, or some really long straight run.

Hmm, maybe a Japanese mountain pass (or French) and a Tengoku drifting track would be nice...
I'd love to see the tricky Spa course too ^_^
Also, a tricky indutrial rallye-sprint track would do the job.

i agree put some mountain pass'es on gt5 gotta have a bit of everything

Being from Canada I'd like to see some familiar courses like the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit (Montreal) and Mosport, also I'd like to see the Estoril Track

I don't know if anybody mentioned it:
Spa-Francorchamps : the F1 track in Belgium. Absolutely astonishing track.
Anyway it would also be very nice if you could design your own track.

Well, if you want to know, yes, some one mentioned it. Actually, hundreds mentioned it, each multiple times. The forums are practically full of the track. See, you could also read a bit of the thread, in stead of jumping to the last page and posting your idea.

I'd like to give JohnBM01 a big Hell Yeah for mentioning the Mont Tremblant rally track... I've wanted that setting in GT forever... So large and ever changing.... Plus it's a perfect track for summer/winter variants..

I will do as most have done and show my local bias towards Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (all F1 tracks would be nice, but let's get real!) as well as the Circuit Trois Rivières (Went to see the American LeMans race of Three Rivers there 3 years ago, and I fell in love with it! Part road, part track, all great!)

As for the others, the more, the merrier...I just think that the Dakkar might be a little idealistic... A raid means covering alot of terrain... I doubt PD might want to go that way... Point to point rally is more plausible....

I voted for Bathurst earlier. I said elsewhere that PD were at Bathurst when Ford made the commercial for the FPV GT so they certainly know about the track. I'm not sure what you mean though by 'the original Bathurst' as Mt Panorama was being used as a motorsport venue since 1938. Also, the real reason they changed from Group A to V8 Supercars was because CAMS and the manufacturers couldn't see the value of Group A as the dominant cars were cars that could not even be purchased in Australia. They had made plans for a new formula to replace Group A before the GT-R was even racing in Australia.

i know this has been said before but

the origional bathurst with no shicane at the end of conrod straight would be cool

i would also like to see the
Nordschleife
Sudschleife
Betonschleife
Start Und Ziel Schleife
Ardmore GP circuit (NZ)
Victoria Park Street Circuit (proposed v8 race in nz ..... never happened)
Wellington street track
and the Reims circuit in france

DAYTONA WITH, WITH! WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the PROPER infield NASCAR by EA tryed and failed. I'm sure Polyphony or SCEI or whoever makes GT5 could do it right!

I would like to mention there is also an EXCELLENT 24 Hour GT race there and the LMES makes a stop there once a year. God knows both those series are FAR supperior in terms of action than Formula 1 of late. (Not that I don't like F1 I'm just fed-up.)

Yeah, the "rovals" on EA's NASCAR games are fictionalized versions of ovals that do have infield road courses in real life, i.e. Daytona, Talledega, Phoenix, Homestead, etc. I think they just used "poetic license" when it came to doing those variants, and weren't going for accuracy.

I would love to see the Barber Motorsports Park in GT5. Porsches driving school is currently there, and there are some other manufactuer's thinking of moving things there. This track has been regarded as not only one of the finest tracks in America, but perhaps the world.
