The Toms Castrol one that you can purchase,
Unless your a VMax nut, then I'd opt for the RZ :) 4 figure bhp levels are so much fun.

Castrol's tight but I hate that modification job it has on it. Kinda played out from Pt. 1 & 2. I like the Denso Sard better.

I find the Castrol and Denso Supras no different with my driving style! I would have all the Supras to be honst

Well,
I just tried the Supra RZ and fully suped it, but it revs out in 1st and 2nd, I tried messing around with the gearbox but couldn't get it to change. Any suggestions?
And personally, the reason I asked this question was because everyone says the castrol is better, but I would of the thought the denso is becasue u cant buy it, it has to be won.
Jon.

In my opinion... I found them indifferent when I tried them out. However, The Castrol-Tom's somewhat feels like tolerating the extra power a bit better handlingwise...

The RZ when souped up, simply gets to be wild and rabid !!!

Tom's is faster than the Denso, the Denso handles better, case closed.

Tom's... no Denso... no Tom's... no Denso... no Tom's... no Denso... no Tom's... oh god!

Hang on, Denso Sard have far cuter pit girls at the moment... Denso Sard Supra the decisive winner!!! ;)

The Master has spoken!... of course I agree. :D

Denso for me. When KC beats me with something else than maybe I go with the Toms car.

As far as I can tell there is no difference between them except for apperance, the're both JGTC cars and have the same specs. The only difference could be in the set-up you use. The production version is very disappointing, it's just an old model past it's prime.

Well, Zero is pretty much right, the Castrol is slightly faster but the Denso has slightly better, stock-wise anyway. I haven't tried them fully tuned, so I can't comment there.

On a side note, they should have had the Castrol Supra with the special black paintjob from GT1. It looked beautfiul.

mmm, I definately like being sideways going 110 with the wheel all the way to the left and the throttle held wide open, meheheh

was that image supposed to support your statement? cuz it doesn't..
it doesn't show uhm....... the wheel turned all the way and it doesn't show the speed either.... :p

edit: Nice editing there though.... pretty nice

I hadn't captured my high speed drift, :(

taking good stills is tough because ... blah, a lot of things,

I mentioned that stuff and figured I should put an image of my baby,

the image of the supra coming at you has full countersteer :) it's just hard to tell it was totally sideways about 3 seconds before because I was coming out of the turn;

(I actually didn't edit that much I just erased a tiny amount of both images because the roads met up perfectly, I was like  )

I do like the
Road-
RZ
Race-
Denso Sard
:)

I have found that TUNED EXACTLY THE SAME, I am faster in the Castrol Supra. Only marginally, but faster.

THE RZ is good up to about 600 hp. Once you tune above that it become a bit unruly. Too much wheel-spin. Not enough control or responsiveness. Anyway, at 600 HP or less the RZ is a great deal of fun to drive. Not the fastest car for running laps, but a great deal of fun just the same.

400hp RZ.
Handles really great, like it's on rails.

I can give you settings if you like. :)

I just gotta throw my 2 cents worth in here. For me,I find the Denso a little better for my style. It appears to have a slight edge on the Toms.I do get better lap times with the Denso.I try to run a perfect race so maybe that is why I see a difference. To me it seems that the Denso does have more grip and better handling in the corners and turns.I love both of these cars, the Toms used to be a crutch, but now,the Denso has overtaken the Toms.I have them both set about the same so maybe I'm just being biased.Oh btw,I'm on my 5th time through the game.217 races,217 wins.
I would like to try the online racing, does anyone have any helpful tips or hints about that there?
