Currently using a 32" LCD & PWTS.
@£800 should I go for a 42" Plasma screen or CSW+ BMW Rim.?
I hope to have both one day, so which should I go for first?
Thanks.

Which wheel do you have now, if you have one?

PWTS, as it was written in first sentence.

If you are already sitting very close to your tv, than bigger screen doesn't give much. CSW is definitely better wheel, but don't know if only this game is worth that much to be spent on a wheel.
As you said you are buying both anyway, then I would probably go for CSW first.

I missed that.
I would also go with the wheel, I use a 32inch and it works just fine. The csw is probably one of the best wheels for the price IMO better than the t500 because of the quick release and the wheel options, performance wise I find them equal.

I would go for a t500rs instead of CSW wheel..for gt5 there is no best.
I have Clubsport Pedals V1 , I'm sure they don't connect with the t500rs on PS3.
Losing out on the load cell function would be a step backwards for me.
Thanks for your suggestion though:tup:

How do you know which wheels will be compatible with GT6? Just something to think about.
This also is a very important point. I'm assuming GT6 will be on PS4?
So may have to wait, to know for sure, on PS4 & CSW compatibility.:nervous:

Or if you got the ambition, you could go the triple monitor route.. it's a much better experience when you have screens covering your peripheral vision... much better sensation of speed, and of course of being able to see through longer turns much further.

At £150-200 you can get some quality 24" monitors and then try and find 2 more slightly used PS3's at £100 a piece.

I agree completely. If GT6 were to be released on the PS4 (which I'm really hoping it would be), the multiple screen would be so worth it. The only drawback would be cost if it doesn't support it from a single PS4 and in all likelihood you would probably still need 3 x PS4s (probably be around $400-$600 each at intro). But there's always Assetto Corsa, Gran Turismo for the PC (albeit with no Japanese car if you don't count the Toyota powered Lotus).

If you already have a 32" TV I would definitely go for the CSW + BMW Rim. Keep in mind Plasma TV's run super hot, where is a LCD runs cool.

I hadn't considered the triple monitor setup. I will need to think this one through carefully though, to see if I can modify my current setup for this. Overall though it's seems the CSW recommended before any screen upgrades.
Thanks for the input everyone:)
