I just wanted to know if anyone in the US had the white playstation2 because I was looking for one.

White looks pretty cool, I like how it makes the "PS2" lettering look. Plus it wouldn't show as much dust as the original black.

For the most part, I agree. But people pay a lot more for other silly things. Macintosh? Heh heh ...

I still think it's a good idea to package a special edition PS2 with GT4. Something like ... a full setup. PS2, two DS2s, network adaptor, hard drive, GT4 .... oh, and a memory card.

GT4: $50
Mem: $20

$360. They could sell it for $350 and probably make a bunch of money.

Hmmm, it would be fun to build my own case. Sheet metal would look cool, with a little shaping to it. The CD / DVD tray would be the only part difficult to match. But if you're using something like HD Loader, it wouldn't matter too much (:

PS2s are getting a lot of promotion again around here and basically all the PS2s in the shops are silver editions. And darn cheap too! They are selling for € 139.

To me it really doen't matter what color the PS2 is....it is just that the real white ones from Asia are the only universal PS2s. I can't even play the Prologue I bought on ebay cause it is the Japanese version.
