Who else wishes GT5 had NOS?

Different series are they not? JGTC became the Super GT. Like old DTM eventually turned into the new DTM. Different regulations, so the cars shouldn't be able to race each other.

JGTC regulations completely changed every year. If you want to be ultra-pedantic about it, you shouldn't be able to race any JGTC/Super GT cars against any other JGTC/Super GT cars from any other year.

Year DTM comparison is also apples and oranges. Super GT was, for the first few years at least, nothing more than evolved JGTC regulations. It wasn't until more recently that they started making major changes to the series, like outright banning MR vehicles from GT500.

Pre-1994 DTM and Post-2000 DTM are both made up of cars that have four wheels with the engine somewhere in front, and that is about the extent of the similarities between the two series.

What the hell are you talking about? I was unaware of how nitrous systems had an effect on handling and braking, and I was also unaware that every single race in GT5 took place on SSR7. Because that is literally the only way for that statement to hold any water.
 
NOS in GT5 like in GT4 would be nice i think :)

What are you talking about? Of course its real. The proper name is nitrous oxide. Look it up!
 
I would LOVE NOS to be included in the GT series in the future. It would allow people to strategize when to use it in races, and it would overall make the maximum speed of everything quicker. Imagine a Fiat 500 reaching 160mph+ on it's own with NOS!

I would be all for more ways to tune and customize cars. NOS being one of those ways. I know that's not really what GT has been about, but I do want SOME more parts and stuff. It doesn't have to be like NFS (which I don't like) or anything.
 
Dumb, Stupid, useless, not cool, all words that come to mind when talking about nos in GT5 , lets worry about more updated recent cars before we worry about something pathetic like nas
 
Because the people in charge of asset creation are the same ones who program features into the game.

Personally, I prefer YES over NOS :)
 
Wow, from the way so many talk about their real world "experience" with cars and such on here you would think more people would know that nitrous oxide systems are being used for much, much more than just 150hp shots on a dragway. Like the computer controlled microburst systems being used to eliminate turbo lag that are absolutely amazing. That's something I'd like to see in GT for sure ;)

I don't miss NOS, but I would like decals, to really make your car special. Just my opnion though. Oh and make paint something you could buy for some amount of credits and not something you are lucky to get if you need a special color.

GT4 had this, it was one of the features i wish GT5 had.
 
Was good in gt4.. I would normal use it on hi power turbo street cars to overcome low rpm lag.. On cars like amuse carbon r, and supra's.
 
Nos would be awesome for seasonal events if it didn't raise your PP and then you could have your 500pp RX-7 blow away that 500pp Series 1 supercharged that always wins :lol:
 
I don't want it back. I associate it with street racing and GT is based on circuit racing.
 
And a pure O2 mod for the X cars!

I enjoyed nitrous in GT4, but I don't really miss it.
