If someone figures out how to pay for it, please share. I'm still trying to figure out how to give them(Japanese PSN) my payment in exchange for downloading it.

I've just bought a 5,000 yen PlayStation Store Ticket from Ebay, so all I need to do now is wait for it to be emailed to me.

Okay I found it, using "Playstation yen" Thanks though!

Holy crap, they are making so much money for those damn tickets on eBay. They are selling 5000 yen tickets for $65CAD. That's a $20 CAD profit right there.

I went the Ebay UK route, because I do not want to import another game for a long time, mainly due to the import charges.

What site do you recommend to import: www.renchi.com or www.yesasia.com? or www.games-asia.com

I would say yesasia - free shipping.

I see, but for me I think the limit for no custom charges is $60 or something for Canada. I am not too sure, but I have imported quite a few games with no problem, just never together (100% certain they will charge).

Now I am just deciding between:

1) Wait for the Chinese version, which I can understand
2) Go order the Japanese version, and not be able to read much
3) Go and knowingly get scammed on eBay to get it fast

Yeah, you gotta love capitalism.

I actually do like capitalism. Just that in this case, not enough people are int he market. If there are more people seeing this profitable business, they will enter the market, and drive prices down, until there virtually is no profit. Economic principle --> at equilibrium, a firm earns zero profit. Better for consumers like us. haha....

Yep... no wait though, you'll get 'em via email. Buy it from play-asia and you pay about the same, plus you get to pay shipping and wait for it to be delivered. :O

Two options to get this game if you are not a resident of Japan.

Import the game (blue ray disc)
or
Try using a Playstation Network Ticket to add funds to your Japanese Wallet Account. (yet to be confirmed if this is possible for someone outside Japan)

I am talking aboutthe fact that you dont' have to pay shipping. *Cough* Yesasia.com

The price is definitely better. Though with the PSN card method you can download the game now instead of waiting. Depends on your patience and your wallet. :)

I just received an email from Play Asia that my disc was sent today, should have it within a week...Merry Christmas:)

Yesasia is shipping it for me via Express Shipping $8 which supposed to arrive December 26 or 28. I also ordered one for US through amazon.com which supposed to arrive February 28. Spent money like crazy on this damn game.:D First it was HDTV, PS3, HDMI cable, and now 2 copies of GT5 Prologue.

Amazing what we'll spend on this series. When GT4 came out in Japan 2 months before the US release, I bought a Japanese PS2 and GT4 on Ebay then sold them on ebay after the US release. This time though was the new PS3, wireless router, HDMI cable, HD TV, GT5 disc and a G25 wheel.. oh yeah and an adapter for the G25 shifter for my Bob Earl VRC (virtual racing cockpit.) Money
well spent considering the hundreds of hours of racing I'll get out of it.
As long as I'm not spending money in a bar or on other women my wife never says a word about my GT addiction:)

Dec 26 sounds awfully long, I'm expecting mine by the 19th, was shipped today and they say 3-7 days.....guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Same here, ordered from yesasia and it should be here by the 24th or something (regular shipping) :D
