You do weights 👍 :D
I got a York medium set that I've had for years (I asked for it a few Xmas ago but never really got into it, till last August.)
4 x 1.1kg
8 x 2.3kg (Some are still in storage)
2 x 4.5kg
A barbell and 2 dumbell bars.

Figured it would help my karate and rugby, but mainly because all my mates were in South Africa and I was bored.

Are you serious? I'm 20 and only 5'9". Maybe I am small .

Cosmic
You are small for being 17.
Yup – I’ve grown one inch in the past four or five years (while I have friends who’ve grown half a foot in the same time span); I used to be tall for my age, and now I’m a bit short for my age. I don’t really have a problem with being on the small side, except that clothing stores seem to have forgotten that smaller Americans still exist – trying to find small sizes these days is damn near impossible.

Ooh, Giles would kill you for that. ;) (It’s interestingly or incidentally, not ironically – it would be ironic if it were called Blue Paint Edition and was painted red.)

Is it true that Merced isn’t even complete yet, and most classes are being held in the library? Most pictures I’ve seen of the campus just look like a big pile of dirt.

The UC is no where near complete. It will take the next ten years to finish the main campus and another twenty to complete the surrounding buildings. The UC would have opened sooner but, a group of left-wing hippies were moaning about how the development of the campus would destroy the Ferry Shrimp population. That's right, they have nothing better to do than to worry about something people eat and screw me over from attending the UC. Plus, Democrats up in Sacramento were holding up funds for the UC, but that's normal politics.

Most of the classes are held in the library and cafeteria, as you said. Some classes are held at the community college here too.

Yeah, tell me about it. I'll worry about tunning later, I need to get the car first.

I wish I could to that too... I got a slow *****... lol

Mostly, I've bought accessories like the Z-5500 5.1 speakers and MX3100 wireless input from Logitech and my brand new 2005FPW widescreen LCD from Dell. As far as my system goes, I'm still running hardware put together from 2001.

Oh really ?? I hope theres quiet girls in Cali, because here.... We dont know what is a "quiet girl"... lol

Yeah, you have to stay away from the valley girls down in SoCal. :)

Regrets? Are you (or was) a fiscal conservative? I guess Republicans are out spending the Democrats now. :D

Regrets? Are you (or was) a fiscal conservative?

Fiscally, I'm definitely a liberal (leftist) now. According to the "political compass" test, I used to be slightly left of center on economic issues.

I say "regrets" because my original reasons for registering are now at odds with my current political philosophy.

I guess Republicans are out spending the Democrats now. :D

 True!

One can only imagine what the interest payments are going to look like, though... :scared:

Not much to say about me.

My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low-grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a 15-year-old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims, like he invented the question mark. Sometimes, he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy - the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical: summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring, we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent, I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds. Pretty standard, really.

It's just amazing how you grew up to be a perfectley acceptable member of society after all that. Well, except for stealing your neighbours internet and challenging 15 yr old Welsh boys to drinking competitions :p...

My name - David, thats actually my middle name my first names Joseph but when I was little I had a few mates called Joe as well, there was me, Jo, and another Joe and it got confusing so we called Jo by her full name Joanna, Joe was Joe and I got called by my middle name and it just kind of stuck.

Age - 23
Birthday - 17th August 1982
Height - 5'9
Weight - It varies daily, I average about 12'6-7 stone which is 174-5lbs.
Waist - 32"

I have blue eyes (ladies), and my hair goes brown over the winter and blonde in the summer, I'm like a TVR but I change over time instead of perspective.

Fave food - The Chicken and Donna kebab, by far.
Fave Music - Hard to say really I like stuff like REM, Ters for fears, I like Radiohead a lot.
Fave drink - Strongbow
Blonde or Brunette - Brunette
Fave TV series - Band of Brothers
Fave movie - I like too many to choose, recently it's Man on Fire, but theres so many other films I really like it's probably not my faverout overall.

I live in South Manchester, always have done. I went to primary school in Withington and then I went to Parrs wood high school in East didsbury. After that I did a GNVQ level 3 in construction design at Stockport college. I currently live in West Didsbury with my girfriend Charlotte.

I have family living in Mansfield woodhouse in Yorkshire and some Family in Whitley bay, Newcastle. I also have family in Ireland but I don't really know any family members from over there.

My brother, now theres a tough one, the words psycopath and the phrase needs mental help, come to mind whenever I think of him. I've hated him for a few years now, he was living at home one Christmas when I was still living with my parents and he had a bit too much to drink and he started kicking in the windows os some bay doors we have, my dad confronted him and ended up with a knife through his hand. I can remember him coming back to the house after the police had come and gone and my dad had been taken to hospital, he wa banging on the door. I just stood next to it with a pool cue in my hand, he didn't get in but if he had, it wouldn't be the first time I hit him with a pool cue.

The troubled part of my life over, current affairs are good. I like to talk business a lot, I've run two businesses myself, one was my 100% own business, selling mobile phones but I didn't have the time to keep it going. The other which I'm currently doing is a partnership with two other guys, it's been runing for about 8 months now and the pace has been spot on.

Hobbies include - Pub's, club's, women, car's, movies, snooker, pool, go-karting, football.

Onto Football then, or soccer as some of you may call it. I play football weekly, I'm used to be in a team with my school but I screwed my ankle playing, not football but Tennis. Don't ask how you can tear all your ligaments and crack your bone playing tennis but I managed. It put me out for a long time, after that I just kept getting injured whenever I played, always the ankle. So I stopped, I play now and it doesn't cause me much trouble but I'm in no shape to get into a team anymore and tbh with my lifestyle at the moment I couldn't fit it in anyway.

If my business goes well into next year were opening up an office and hiring some people to work for us, if that hapens I'll be driving a nice new TVR Sagaris, I'm due to put a deposit down on one as things stand in January, it's a big deposit, but I'm not going to buy one until I know I'll be able to rely on my business (Phoneland UK if you were wondering) to bring in a set minimum of cash every month.
