I wish I had some more money, but just bought a Vid card to show off what I can do. Well, atleast it's a step forward.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the 2nd analog stick can be used for throttle and brake? Push the stick forward for gas and backward for brake. It provide much more sensitivity. Its a wonder they didn't program the game this way...

um....

GT3 actually does that. You just have to go to options and change the options on the controller menu.

you've got to be kidding me right?

dual shock is the best! it give u great control over the cars acceleration, braking, and turning. Thne wheel is just a rip off and is not needed.

just becasue u can' drift with the wheel doesn't make it a rip off. The wheel is def. better then a controller... U best get ur facts straight...

I use the dualshock almost exclusively, but to say the wheel is useless is just crazy. :odd:

I just got my DFP wheel like a week ago and im learning how drift in 900 deg. It was hard at first but im getting used to it and probably ill master it before GT4 comes. This wheel is really fun and challenging.

i dont really like the wheel.......tried it at my freinds house.....it seems so sensitive...

You can adjust the sensativity on some wheels the madcatz one i got its good for 3 systems has an onboard calibrator which u can use to determine how muhc of a dead spot you want or jus plain eliminate it, and you can determine how much u have to turn the wheel for it to have full wheel travel. Also hase pedals and i shifter :D if you havnt put 2 and 2 together i prefer the wheel, end of story...

maybe logitech is gonna make a new wheel with a clutch and a 6 gear shifter in gran turismo 5
that would be awsome, but you would need more room to store it, since it would need a 6 gear box anda 3rd pedal. so that is probly why they are staying away from it. My friend a 6 gear shifter for his pc for the nfs series, and it works great. so it is possible. I think they should make a seat too, like a recaro seat or w/e with a wheel and box mounted on it, and make it a computer chair for all yall like me with the ps2 and tv next to the tv :D

Yeah, i know what you mean. My friend recently came over with his wheel, and i looked like an idot when i was drifting. Everything went wrong. Bad angle, not to mention i didn't even complete a decent lap. Well i'm trying to get the hang of it. In my opinion it seemed simpler to just use the controler well for now it does.
