I sometimes use the ebrake when I turn in too early on a drift and I have to keep sliding to make the turn. Also, sometimes I will start drifting REALLY early and just use the ebrake to keep the car sideways.

in the game it is really not that useful, but in real life it is one of the more popular ways to drift.

alot of the japanese drifters use the ebrake to initiate their drift, i usally do feints and powerovers but, i was watching a video of ken nomura and he pulled the ebrake like 3 or 4 times to initiate his drift, so i tried it in the game and worked so i do that every once in a while or to hold my drift.

I don't use the E-Brake, because when I am turning the wheel it's sometimes hard to tap the button...

I tried using the E-brake earlier today while controller drifting with the SS AE86 and I must say, for some reason, it feels so natural to use it.

I use it to change the driving line while drifting.

Not really, I'm still learning in GT4 but a while ago I tried drifting in GT3 for the first time and using the e- brake with or just using the feint maneuve, rmade drifting the Super GT NSX' s really easy, and mind you, I have very little drifting experience. However, I did mess arounnd with the S15 out the few cars you start off with in Arcade mode. On FR cars I doubt that the e-brake should be used too much, but what do I know?

Somehow i do use the E-Brake to drift lately and it seems to work a little.

Im not an E-Brake drifter and thats my problem:

If i buy a car, the first thing i do = searching my setting here
When i'v putted the setting in my car i drive a test round, if
the car dusnt drifts without E-Brake i sell them.

^^^IM NOOB^^^

PERFECT BALANCE

yes, thats what i do on some corners where i enter at full speed, feint hard and EARLY, then ebrake till i get to where i can get around the corner with the gas.
and it looks sick when pulled off nicely.
mainly use it on a few tracks' first corner thats tight and has a nice straight before it.
like one track i use it on is deep forrest.

I am quite new to drifting in GT4, I don't really use the E Brake at all. I don't seem to get good drifts with it, I just stick to braking, feint and lift off technique's. The only place I have used the E Brake is on Tsukuba Wet, it's fun there. You can get sideway's really easy. :)
