uh, I wear sketchers that look kinda like the shoes in initial D? They are great for feeling the petal when I drive my real car, or in real life period, but as for GT3 drifting? I drift barefoot, cuz the pedals are so damn touchy. In a real car, there's a deadspace, and a normal space, the deadspace is from the little bit of slack in the accelerator cable where it connects to the throttle assembly, the normal space is the space where the pedal accelerates "normaly" and then toward the bottom you get the wonderful part where it just opens up the throttle full blast, somewhere from about 75% to 100% it just kicks in like a beast. In GT3, its all just, well, direct input, it sucks.... I'd take any real car over GT3 any day, lol.
